Chengdu Sampling 9 Kinds Of Clothing Quality Is Not Qualified
The Chengdu Bureau of industry and Commerce released the results of spring quality monitoring in the first quarter of 2010: sampling inspection of spring garments sold in circulation areas such as Jinjiang District, Qingyang, Chenghua District, Jinniu District and professional markets. Among them, 9 kinds of garments were found to be unqualified and ordered to be sold off.
According to the circular, the indicators of clothing, formaldehyde, pH, color fastness, fiber content and rubbing fastness were tested.
The results showed that the quality of clothing monitored by this time was nearly 30%, and the substandard items were: fiber content and rubbing fastness index did not meet the national standard requirements.
The industry and commerce departments have ordered dealers to dispose of substandard products and require production enterprises to carry out rectification immediately.
