How Did I Get Promoted?
Let me introduce myself first. I came from the countryside, and I was out of school because of poor grades and high school. I dropped out of high school only after 1.5 years of reading. After dropping out, I studied crafts: carpentry, and then I went to 1997 to Shenzhen. Now I work as a department head in a foreign company. My next life goal is department manager.
1) less care and more work. Everything is better than others, a little bit faster than others. Therefore, I treasure this job very much, so I will cherish the work and do everything from my work to my work. I will study how to improve the work efficiency of the individual, how to improve the quality and reduce the bad. Naturally, the things that come to my hands are better than others. At that time, I got the recognition from the workshop supervisor, and then I got a chance to have a class leader on the production line. At that time, I was only responsible for the work and got the recognition from my superiors. In 1997, when I first came out of Shenzhen, I worked as an assembly line worker in an electronic processing plant, such as screws, solders, and so on. When I was just 20 years old, I felt very early about the hardships of life.
2) improve yourself and learn new skills at the right time.
I had given myself a goal to walk into the office, at least to work well and to have a good environment. At that time, I thought, if I could step into the office, I would have to go to the office. First, I would have a computer. When I spent a year in savings with my colleagues, I bought a computer with my colleagues. When I learned the power of computers, I really reached the level of madness. I bought the first day, playing the beloved computer all night, and later, two people took turns to work. I had time to learn, type, draw, and so on. Anyway, two people turned around the computer after work. In 2000, I worked as a production line for 3 years. Later, I thought, if I could get into the office, the office would be air-conditioned, and the workshop would be blower every day.
3) jump at the right time to find new opportunities.
At that time, because of the computer, effortlessly into a company as warehouse keeper, this company just want to use computers, so I learned all useful, and at the same time have new knowledge, process learning, what warehouse management, MRP system,..ISO ah... After spending 2 years, I basically figuring out the warehousing process of the regular company. At that time, I had a new goal. The warehouse had to be pported every day. It was too hard for me to earn money. I couldn't earn money by making efforts. Material control became my goal, so I bought some books and learned some theories about material management and procurement.
4) learn to be the core of your boss. Your boss's left and right hands are irreplaceable and build your core competitiveness.
2002年,我勝利的獲得了PMC一職(生產計劃,物料計劃控制),從此,我又有更多的新的知識,技能要學習, 天天忙啊,反正我對待工作就是一個想法: 多做多學, 少做少學,不做什么都學不到, 所以領導所有安排的事我都熱愛做,領導沒有安排的事,我主動要求做, 這樣自然學到別人學不到的經驗了.又過了2年,我想, 在關外, 工廠,待遇不如深圳市內, 不如找個市內工廠,待遇肯定要高點, 當時在關外的工資才1500/月包加班60H/M,所以又一個目標誕生了, 到市內找一個待遇高的公司, 工作時間短的,(標準5天制的,當時關外的廠都是 6天的,反正一個月只有2天真正的休息時間,晚上一般上到10點才下班). 自己分析了一下, 如何才能獲得呢? 第一,要學點英語, 第二,做回本行,PMC, 所以后來學了幾個英語, 基本的能看懂了, 很不費勁的進了一家外企做PMC. 當然一進公司就是2500元/月,可高興壞了, 原來自己也能拿 High wages, for me, the working time is half the original, the wages are 2 times the original, that is, the unit time salary has increased 3 times. So I am very conscientious in doing this job well, so in my colleagues, I am naturally more hard-working than others, and hard to work hard, other people do not want to do things, I have all wrapped up, others do bad things, I will naturally try to do it well, so at that time, I gave my goal to make progress every day, 1%., and then came down for 2 years, because my efforts have become the core personnel of this Department, the working method has improved a lot in my efforts, and the efficiency has improved a lot.
At last, 2 years after entering the company, the manager made me a supervisor. Ha ha, Kung Fu does not care about people, because my achievements are obvious to all. Since then, I have embarked on a real management door. As a result, the company has given some training, and the supervisor has made me learn. The former employees do not learn management knowledge and skills. Today, I have a new goal. I am a manager. I learned a lot when I applied for a program manager in an American company last time. I had so much difference from the manager.
5),學會與上司和睦共處,做個”聽話”的下屬.
What kind of superiors like to obey their own management staff, even if it is not so smart and flexible, but I will definitely finish the time when the boss tells me, and sometimes try to exceed the expectations of my superiors. I am in this company now, and I am more intelligent than I am. I have been reading high school for 1.5 years, and what kind of junior college are my college students, but what I have said is the lowest education level. Now the company operators are graduating from high school. Their IQ is higher than me, but EQ is really not good. AQ is much less, they are independent, they are independent, they have their own opinions, they are self conceited, they are not willing to bear hardships, they are unwilling to learn, unwilling to cooperate. No matter what kind of company.
6) often remit your progress to your boss:
For your boss, you should not only successfully complete your work goal, but also report your progress to your boss when you are not finished. Let your boss rest assured that your boss will know that when you are wrong, he can correct it in time.
7) being good friends with your boss is not just about subordinates. If you can be a good friend, you must not worry about your future.
In fact, a lot of management says that the boss should not be friends with his subordinates. If he is a subordinate, if he can understand what his boss always thinks about, what he cares about, and what he expects of his job, he can reach a tacit understanding. You may become your bosom's confidant and know it. Because you know him best, he also naturally regards you as a friend. Of course, you must have enough respect for him because he will always be your boss.
8) 常常提醒上司不足,他會感激你的
His weakness, but you can't have a positive conflict at his meetings or any time, otherwise you will have more opinions. You must talk with him when you are in a good mood. You say in a very euphemistic manner: * * manager, there is something I don't know if I'm right. I would like to ask you to correct it. Generally, the boss will say, "you say, it doesn't matter. Listen to me." when you get the permission of your superior, you can honestly tell your meaning, and whether you are right or not, the boss will be very happy. If yes, he will be very grateful to you, because it is rare for him to mention his mistake. No one is perfect. As a boss, there are many shortcomings as well as subordinates. There will be many places that are not in place. As his right and left hand, you have the responsibility to point out his shortcomings.
9) 常與上司建設性的意見,比如對未來的發展, 對流程的改進…上司會覺得你是個非常用心的人,跟這點會直接影響你的晉升是否成功…
10) maintain good relations with your boss's supervisor.
For your boss's boss, you have to finish all the work you want to do at the first time, and you also need to understand his management style, style and requirements. If your boss is away on business, your boss's boss may be directly looking for you to deal with something. You must try your best to deal with it so that the two bosses are at ease, so your boss will come to a good conclusion if your boss's evaluation is good to you.
11) maintain good relations with other departments and other colleagues. The weekly events around you will be very important for your evaluation.
For example, the personnel manager is eating with your colleagues. It happens to be a colleague who has offended you. If he says a few words: for example, he is not very cooperative and unable to communicate. Your promotion will also be affected.
