Gushi County Held A Forum On Textile And Garment Industry Development

On the afternoon of August 13, Gushi County held a forum on the development of textile and garment industry. Wang Zhixue, the county magistrate, Zhang Peiwen, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the county people's Congress, Li Shimin, member of the Party group of the county government, Chen Gang, director of the management Committee of the county industrial agglomeration area, and the responsible persons of relevant units and Fancheng office attended the meeting.

In the forum, Zhang Peiwen introduced the relevant situation of the "three year development plan of Gushi County textile and garment industry (Draft)".

It is understood that in recent years, according to national policy requirements, the Yangtze River Delta integration process has been accelerated, and textile and garment enterprises have gradually shifted to the central and western regions. According to the requirements of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, the textile and garment industry will be the leading industry in Gushi County, and the annual output value will reach 50 billion yuan by 2023. In order to achieve this goal, Gushi County has drawn up a three-year development plan (Draft) of 590 enterprises, 7400 mu of land, 71300 employees and an annual output value of 52.8 billion yuan for the textile and clothing industry by the end of 2023.

Li Shimin, Chen Gang and the persons in charge of relevant units and offices spoke respectively, analyzed and discussed the objectives and tasks proposed in the three-year development plan (Draft), and put forward opinions and suggestions on land acquisition and demolition, fund-raising, investment promotion, project approval and other issues in the development of textile and garment industry.

Wang Zhixue stressed that the development of Gushi County's textile and clothing industry has unique advantages, but there are also many problems and difficulties. Facing the development goal of 50 billion output value in three years, we should have the confidence and determination to fight the tough battle of Gushi industry.

According to Wang Zhixue's requirements, all relevant units and offices should concentrate on the development plan, further pool their wisdom, explore new development concepts, formulate specific and feasible goals and tasks according to different industries, and put them into practice after being submitted to the meeting for approval; We should pay attention to project guarantee, build several different textile and clothing industrial parks according to their characteristics and types, give play to the cluster effect, and better provide various services such as land acquisition, funds, approval, etc; We should pay attention to the factor guarantee, do everything possible to ensure the land, environmental protection, electric power and other elements, use the concept of sharing economy to create good logistics services, and save the non productive expenses of enterprises to the greatest extent; We should pay attention to fund-raising, deeply study various financing policies, make full use of PPP, development bank loans, special debt and other fund-raising methods, and combine with the actual situation of Gushi to ensure the funds needed for industrial development; We should pay attention to the implementation of investment promotion, flexibly use the existing stock of land, arrange investment attracting enterprises to settle in construction in advance, lay a solid foundation for the implementation of the three-year development plan, and spare no effort to promote the sustainable and healthy development of Gushi County's textile and clothing industry.
