On February 18, Italian luxury brand TOD'S officially announced that actors Tong Dawei and Jiang Shuying were brand ambassadors in China through official microblog and WeChat account.
According to the brand, Tong Dawei and Jiang Shuying have cooperated with the brand for a long time, and the image of Tong Dawei, calm and introverted, and Jiang Shuying, elegant and intellectual, is also very consistent with the brand.
At present, there are 27.22 million followers of Tong Dawei's microblog, 18.71 million followers of Jiang Shuying's microblog, and more than 10000 microblog forwarding volume of official announcements from both sides.
It is understood that TOD'S is famous for "TOD'S bean shoes". In the past 20 years, there have only been three moccasins slippers with leather soles, rubber soles and soft soles, and two leather bags with D Bag and Eight Bag. However, it can attract such celebrities as Princess Diana, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Sharon Stone, Tom Hanks, and is synonymous with "classic and comfortable".

The 2018 financial report released by Tod's, an Italian luxury goods group, showed that the group's sales fell 2.4% year-on-year to 944 million euros, mainly due to the decline in wholesale channels, core footwear business and the leather goods department's revenue, of which the sales of the footwear department fell 1.9% to 743.6 million euros, and the revenue of the leather goods accessories department fell 5.3% to 128.6 million euros.
Diego Della Valle, the chairman and CEO, said that despite the increasing uncertainty of the international economy and environment, the Group's sales in Greater China in the fourth quarter were growing at an accelerated pace, and the revenue of the region in the whole year of last year increased by 3.1% year-on-year to 210 million euros based on the actual exchange rate.
Therefore, the Chinese market is also regarded as one of the most important markets of Tod's, and we wonder whether this increase in the Chinese market will become a booster for future performance growth. Let's wait and see.
