Dalian Cup Youth Costume Design Competition Professional Events

The "Dalian Cup" International Youth costume design competition is one of the earliest professional competitions held in China. It has been successfully held for the 26 time and has accumulated 50 thousand people.

The competition has been adhering to the purpose of discovering and developing excellent fashion designers, and promoting international cultural exchanges among fashion designers.

The goal is to create an international youth clothing designer's platform for promoting and exchanging, attracting the top international and domestic design forces to gather in Dalian and develop the garment design industry in Dalian.

Theme of competition

New age design

The works require [entries and contestants' requirements]:

(1) work requirements

1. conforms to the theme of the competition, highlighting the practicality, combining with originality, showing the original design concept of the works, which has distinct characteristics of the times and culture, and is not restricted by sex, age, fabric and season.

2, the series of entries is based on the same concept series design, and combined with practical works + creative works. The professional group is a set of 2 practical works. +1 sets of creative works are selected for 15 series of works. The college group is 1 sets of practical works, including 25 series of creative works by +2.

3, the competition effect picture request is 3 sets of design works, the size is 27cm*40cm, the manuscript which is not consistent with the specification requirements is regarded as invalid contribution; the bottom of the effect picture needs to paste the work fabric small sample, the small sample size 5cm*5cm; the work design inspiration should explain the theme clear.

4. the material requirements of the work are fine, complete in structure, complete in decoration, well prepared and perfect in form.

5. entries must be unpublished personal original works, if there is plagiarism to cancel the qualification, and each series of entries is limited to one designer.

(two) contestant requirements

1. professional group: under the age of 45 years of age, the professional fashion designer who is engaged in clothing design at home and abroad; not limited to nationality and area.

2. academic group: age below 28 years old, students and lovers of fashion design institutes both at home and abroad; nationality and region.

Competition and selection process

(1) competition process

1. submission: mail the work plan and entry form to the Organizing Committee (mailing address: Z28 fashion Silicon Valley, 28 Zhen Gong street, Shahekou District, Dalian, Liaoning, China)

2. finalists: the jury selected the entries, and selected 15 professional group and 25 college group 40 designers.

3. public notice: the effect picture of the selected works will be publicized for 1 weeks. During the publicity period, if there are reports of plagiarism, the organizing committee will have the right to cancel the designer's qualification and make the order according to the order of entries.

After publicity, no objection will be finalists.

4. notice of entry: the organizing committee notified the contestants to enter the finals by mail, letter and telephone, and signed an entry agreement to confirm the entries.

If there is a halfway retreat, the order will be added according to the order of entries.

5. making objects: the finalists will produce works in accordance with the production time and prepare the entries.

6. in the final: the shortlisted contestants will take part in the finals to Dalian, China.

(two) selection process

1. the jury is composed of renowned clothing experts, scholars, designers, fashion critics, media and fashion buyers at home and abroad.

2. preliminaries: the jury selected the results of the competition, and selected 15 series of works from the occupational group, 25 series of works from the academic group, and 40 series of works were finalists.

Entry Information

1, the participants should provide personal registration information in a real and effective manner (nationality, name, sex, age, contact address, telephone, fax, postal code, e-mail).

2. the organizer has the right to publicize, publish and display all entries.

3. competition bonus and related subsidies are all pre tax quotas, and after the end of the finals, they are issued uniformly.

4. the right to interpret this notice is in the office of the Organizing Committee of the competition.

Competition process 2018/03/15: the collection of global works, the solicitation notice, the college roadshow and the overseas invitation.

2018/06/15: enroll and finish the entries.

2018/06/20: preliminary contest selection, organizing the judges on-site selection.

2018/06/22: public announcement, official website, WeChat, micro-blog and other publicity effects;

2018/06/28: issue the notice of entry and make the electronic version of the notice of entry and the paper version (mail).

2018/07/01-09/10: the works are made in kind, and are selected for the production of series of garments (Gen Jin).

Awards

(1) award setting

1. occupational group

Gold Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 50000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright use of the competition.

Silver Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 20000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright use of the works.

Bronze Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 10000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright of the competition.

2. academic group

Gold Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 50000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright use of the works, and trophies and certificates will be awarded.

Silver Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 20000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright use of the works.

Bronze Award: signing the DLC alliance. The winners will be awarded 10000 yuan (pre tax) for the design, production and copyright of the competition.

(two) player's treatment

1. production subsidy

40 entries (15 professional groups, 25 colleges and universities) were awarded, and 2000 yuan per person was given physical subsidies (excluding gold, silver and bronze).

2. traffic and accommodation

(1) traffic subsidy

Europe and the United States subsidize 6000 yuan per person.

The Asian region is subsidized by 3000 yuan per person.

Domestic players are subsidized by 1500 yuan per person.

The pportation cost is not more than 1500 yuan RMB, according to the actual payment subsidy.

(2) providing accommodation

The cost of accommodation for the finalists during the finals in Dalian, China will be borne by the organizing committee.
