Tariff Reduction In The Asia Pacific Trade Agreement Will Promote The Construction Of "One Belt And One Road".
The Fourth Ministerial Council of the Asia Pacific Trade Agreement held recently in Bangkok, Thailand, has reported that the fourth tariff reduction will be formally implemented from July 1, 2017 and the average tariff reduction will be as high as 33%.
The meeting also announced the launching of substantive negotiations in the field of trade facilitation, investment and service trade under the agreement.
The Ningbo inspection and Quarantine Bureau believes that the fourth round of tariff concessions to be launched soon after the Asia Pacific Trade Agreement is expected to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between China and East Asia and South Asia, promote the construction of "one belt and one road", and at the same time, will bring substantial benefits to our city's expansion of trade and economic relations with the member states of the agreement.
The Asia Pacific trade agreement was formerly known as the Bangkok agreement signed in 1975.
In 2001, China formally accede to the agreement.
At present, the member states of the agreement include China, India, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Laos and Mongolia, which are performing domestic approval procedures, with a large market of 2 billion 800 million people.
Data show that between 2001 and 2016, the bilateral trade volume between China and other member countries was expanded from 41 billion US dollars to US $335 billion 800 million.
Among them, the export volume expanded from 15 billion 900 million US dollars to 172 billion 700 million US dollars.
Members of the Asia Pacific Trade Agreement are also important trading partners of Ningbo.
According to statistics, in 2016, the total import and export volume of our Member States reached US $7 billion 230 million, of which US $4 billion 10 million was exported to chemical products.

From the fourth round of tariff concessions, the number of general tariff reductions and tax reductions for all members increased by 2.5 times than that of the third round of negotiations, and the average tax reduction rate was 33%.

From the user age perspective, the 80's are the most favorite group of "Hai Tao", and the purchasing power is also strongest. After 80 users, the proportion of users in "Hai Tao" has exceeded 5 to 57.5%.
Followed by the number of users after 90, the proportion accounted for 25%; after 70 users accounted for 15%, ranked third, after 60 and 00 users accounted for less than 3%.
From the average order size, the purchasing power of the post-80s users is the strongest, with the average order ranking the first and the second ranking after 70.
