In April 10th, Pan Ning, general manager of UNIQLO, said in an interview with our reporter that the first UNIQLO store in Changsha and Kunming will open in April 28th, and the first stores in Guiyang and Taiyuan will open in May 12th and June respectively.
Pan Ning said frankly that the next step will be "rapid expansion" in the Chinese market.
"China is the most important market for UNIQLO. In the future, it will increase investment in China, and strive to set up 100 direct outlets in China every year before 2020, especially in two or three tier cities.
In a city like Changsha, we will open dozens of stores. "

The first store will be located in Yuet Fang ID MALL, located in the center of the May 1 commercial circle, the east entrance of Po Street Street in Changsha's historic street, adjacent to Huang Xing South Road Pedestrian Street, with an area of about 2200 square meters, and the interior decoration adopts its globally unified style.
In April 28th, UNIQLO will bring its spring and summer fashion series and new styles to Changsha.
Its summer flagship merchandise UT (UNIQLO printing T-shirt) will carry music, photography, design, comics, cartoons, brands and other different trend cultures, bringing different tastes to consumers.
UNIQLO is the core brand of fast retailing group, the world's top retailer of apparel retailing, and now has more than 1000 stores worldwide.
As of April 10th, the total number of shops in China (including Hongkong and Taiwan) has reached 143.
UNIQLO's goal is to become the number one enterprise in the world by 2020, and the number of shops has increased from 1085 to 4000.
Relative to its goal, it still has a long way to go before it sells fourth UNIQLO stores in the global clothing industry, especially in terms of the number of stores. Therefore, China's Midwest market, which is favored by most retail businesses, has become a top priority.
