Indonesia Carries Out Anti-Dumping Duties Against Chinese Textile And Clothing Products
In April 12, 2011, the Indonesian government said that in order to protect local products from the massive influx of cheap Chinese mainland goods into the domestic market, the government will implement various safeguards.

HattaRajasa, Indonesia's economic co ordination minister, points out that safeguards or anti-dumping duties may need to be implemented because the selling price of Chinese goods in Indonesia is lower than the cost of production.
Trade minister Feng Huilan said that Indonesia has implemented anti-dumping duties against Chinese products such as wires, steel, textiles and clothing, and other products are also under investigation.
Feng pointed out that the government has instructed the Ministry of trade and the KADI and KPPI to understand the impact of the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA).
The Indonesian government has no plans to review the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement.
