The Ministry of Commerce and trade of Syria announced that it will increase exports of cloth, clothing and its ingredients in the autumn 2010 Metax exhibition, and strengthen its support for the textile industry through the export promotion and Development Bureau, and strive to solve the difficulties faced by textile producers.

The export promotion and Development Bureau will allocate special funds for textile export subsidies, the proportion of cash and tax subsidy is 15%, and promote the development of the industry through various other forms.

The Ministry of trade and economic cooperation also pointed out that we should support the development of the textile industry from two aspects. First, the government should give support and assistance to the textile industry through the export promotion and Development Bureau. In particular, we should carry out high-level skill training for textile workers to improve the production level of the industry. Secondly, textile producers should grasp the latest developments in the international textile market in a timely manner, improve the quality of their textiles, follow the international standards, innovate designs and create internationally famous brands.
