How Should We Pform The Old Textile Industrial Base? Transformation Is Urgent.

In order to promote the pformation and upgrading of the old textile industrial base, exchange the successful experience of all parts of the country, study the existing problems together and explore solutions, in July 13th, the China Textile Entrepreneur Association held a workshop on the adjustment and pformation and upgrading of the national old textile industrial base in Qingdao, Shandong.

Wang Tiankai, Chen Shujin, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association, Wu Jingjian, deputy mayor of Qingdao, the head of the Ministry of human resources and social security, and nearly 40 representatives from textile industry and enterprises all over the country attended the seminar.

"As of May this year, the number of textile enterprises in China reached tens of thousands, with 53342 Enterprises above designated size.

Among them, there are 643 state-owned textile enterprises and more than 50 employees in state-owned textile enterprises.

Chen Shujin pointed out that the old textile industrial bases all over the country had made great contributions to the development of the industry and to the national economy and the people's livelihood.

Especially since the reform and opening up, some textile and old industrial bases have embark on a large part of the reform cost from the overall economic situation of the region.

The pformation and upgrading of old textile industrial bases invariably encounter the question of where money comes from and where people go. This is a very complicated systematic project.

Poor handling not only can not solve the survival and development of enterprises and the existing resettlement of workers, but also may result in adverse consequences that are contrary to the building of a harmonious society.

Wu Jingjian said that the textile industry is Qingdao's "mother industry".

Over the past few years, with the support of the Qingdao municipal Party committee and the municipal government, in accordance with the requirements of "properly resettled employees, the fundamental pformation of mechanisms, the sustainable development of enterprises", and the adjustment and Adjustment Ideas of "asset tuning, main business adjustment, product upgrading, and overall adjustment", Qingdao textile has made remarkable achievements in solving key problems such as redundant personnel, heavy debt burden, and backward technology and equipment.

Lv Zengren, chief engineer of Tianjin Textile Group Holdings Limited, introduced one of their experiences: during the eastward shift of Tianjin's textile industry, due to the lack of initial funds, Tianjin textile control took the strategy of "advance and retreat in an orderly way and advanced backward" strategy. After the initial absorption capacity of the newly built industrial park, textile enterprises began to quit.

This can alleviate the problems of insufficient funds and large numbers of personnel resettlement.

"How can we pform the old textile industrial base? We can communicate with each other through such a platform as a seminar.

Local governments have an important supporting role in the pformation and upgrading of old industrial bases. The old industrial bases should thoroughly analyze their own situation, straighten out the ideas of future pformation and development, and maintain adequate communication with the local government.

Wang Tiankai said that as a bridge and link between the government and enterprises, the association will be duty bound to pave the way for pformation and upgrading of the old textile industrial base.
