Guangdong will also focus on the introduction of Taiwan's advanced manufacturing industries, such as optoelectronics, petrochemical, steel, automobile and its accessories, plastics, engineering plastics, computers and supporting equipment, precision machinery manufacturing and modern equipment, as well as high-tech industries, such as electronic information, biotechnology, new technologies, new materials, new energy, environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction.

Chen Xueqin pointed out that Taiwanese investment in Guangdong has gradually stepped into the fields of precision machinery, optical instruments, IT industry and information, bioengineering, liquid crystal display module, photoelectric industry, new materials, new energy, environmental protection, three high agriculture, service industries and other high technology and high intelligence industries, and accelerated the formation of multiple industries and high-level supporting systems, showing the characteristics of increasing investment scale, higher technology content and more obvious industrial agglomeration effect.
