China's textile and garment industry needs to go deep into the factory, do a detailed investigation, determine the estimation method, calculate the accurate carbon emission data of the products, and then talk about reducing carbon emissions, that is, low carbon is more practical. Actually, it is estimated that it will take at least 3-5 years.

Textile and clothing has always been the focus of international market trade protection, and various laws, regulations and other measures emerge one after another.

Low carbon is the best barrier in developed countries, and can impose high tariffs on imported products by means of carbon labelling.

At present, New Zealand and the United Kingdom have introduced carbon labels, so exporters should pay close attention to the trend of international market and do well in advance.

Looking back on the development of EU REACH regulations, it has been more than 20 years since it was put forward from harmful substances to the final legislation and implementation. Despite the controversy, the progress of implementation has been advancing step by step, and enterprises have been accepted. Meanwhile, other countries have begun to follow suit and launch their own "REACH" regulations.

Low carbon is likely to follow this process and accelerate its pace with international controversy.

At present, low carbon has changed from concept creation stage to connotation rich stage. In the long run, low carbon has always been a barrier that can not go around.
