On January 9, the new book release and sharing meeting of "Fashion Awakening: China's Clothing Industry's Golden Decade and Thirty Years" hosted by Donghua University Press and Wenqi Bookstore was held in Beijing China International Exhibition Center (Chaoyang Hall). This activity invited Mr. Tan An, the author of this book, to discuss the future development of China's clothing industry with more than 80 industry leaders, such as experts, scholars, designers, entrepreneurs, etc.

Tan An, nicknamed "old student", has gradually become a positive cultural guide in the clothing industry since the establishment of the National Clothing Research and Design Center in the early 1980s. He summarized the content of the book as "looking back and moving forward", that is, reviewing the awakening at the beginning of reform and opening up and looking forward to the future direction of development. He believes that the development of the clothing industry needs the deep integration of information technology and art. How to make China more beautiful, the information art route is the key to achieve this goal. This route is not only applicable to the clothing industry, but also to other manufacturing industries, because all products need to have aesthetic and practical characteristics.

In the work exhibition link, the design works of ten designers, Liu Wei, Wu Jianying, Liu Lili, Liang Mingyu, Liu Yang, Wang Xinyuan, Fang Ying, Lv Yue, Wu Haiyan and Zhang Zhaoda, were displayed on site. The masters expressed the concepts of fashion, fashion awareness, fashion design and information technology through the design of cultural shirts one by one. 　　

The event was hosted by Zhou Dehong, chief editor of Donghua University Press. Zhao Jinjun, the former Chinese ambassador to France and the former dean of the Foreign Affairs College, Li Dangqi, the former dean of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University and the former chairman of the China Fashion Designers Association, Hua Mei, the former dean of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of Tianjin Normal University, Zhang Zhaoda, a famous artist and designer, and other old friends also came to the scene and shared.
