    The textile and clothing industry belongs to China's traditional manufacturing industry, and is also one of the important pillar industries of China's national economy. In recent years, China's textile and clothing industry has accelerated its transformation and upgrading with the help of intelligent transformation. In the production workshops of many enterprises, one automation equipment is busy running, orderly commanding all production links with "digital brain", and many intelligent machines are beginning to replace manpower.
    In a spinning enterprise in Shengze Town, Wujiang District, Suzhou, a wad of cotton sliver was transformed into raw cotton yarn for weaving by weaving machine. Walking in this workshop, I can hardly see employees. A loom has 96 spindles spinning at the same time, and these patrol robots with green lights can carry out automatic screening, wiring, doffing, etc. The production here is almost automatically completed by these intelligent machines.
    In this regard, Zhou Jia, general manager of Yishuang New Material Company in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, said that its maximum speed could reach 550 meters per minute, 20-30 times the speed of traditional spinning. The production capacity has increased from about 200 tons per month to 4000 tons per month.
    In the picture, the machine moving above the loom is called the flyer, which is also called "eagle eye" in the industry. It can replace the human eye with a high-speed camera. Once the cloth surface is found to be defective, it will conduct big data comparison, lock the target through infrared ray, and timely remind the barricade to deal with it. "There were always omissions in manual inspection before, but with this new machine, the precision is high, and more than 99% of the defects can be detected," said Yang Junwu, director of Shuangying Chemical Textile Air Jet Workshop in Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province.
    Printing and dyeing is an indispensable part of the textile industry. The original printing and dyeing enterprises had low production efficiency due to pollution and technology and other reasons. In Jiangsu Honghua Digital Printing Company, the production workshop is clean and tidy. A row of digital printing machines print different designs and colors on the cloth according to the instructions of the computer system, making the shape more three-dimensional and the color more bright. According to Wang Yulin, general manager of Jiangsu Honghua Digital Printing Company, the mobile black machine is an industrial printer, and customers can also customize production.
    In Bosiden Group, from cotton yarn, cloth weaving, printing and dyeing to the process of making clothes, the workers in the template sewing area only need to place the cloth in the designated position, and the machine will automatically sew.
    In the production workshop, the intelligent production hanging transmission system grabs the "parts" of clothing, such as cuffs, collars, front, and so on, and sends them to workers at all posts accurately. The computer at the front of each production line will record the status of workers' production in real time.
    Gao Dekang, Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of Bosiden Group, said that the automation rate of key production links in this factory has reached more than 90%. In peak season, 8000 pieces of down jackets can be produced every day. The period from the start of production to delivery to consumers can be shortened to 7-14 days.
    Intelligent manufacturing is the main direction of digital transformation of the textile industry. It is understood that by December 2022, the evaluation index of the overall development level of the integration of informatization and industrialization of China's textile industry has reached 57.1, the digitization rate of production equipment has reached 55.6%, and the readiness rate of intelligent manufacturing has reached 14.6%.
