[Attention] Textile Light Science And Technology Education Foundation Visited Wuhan Textile University
Recently, Chen Siqi, Deputy Secretary General of the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation, and his delegation came to Wuhan Textile University for a return visit and discussion with the award-winning teachers and students of the "Textile Light" China Textile Federation Teacher Award, Student Award and the 2021 "Textile Light" China Textile Federation Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award.

The meeting was presided over by Li Wei.
Li Wei, Director of Personnel Department of Wuhan Textile University, introduced the basic situation of Wuhan Textile University. The predecessor of Wuhan Textile University is Wuhan Textile Institute of Technology, which was founded in 1958. In 2010, it was renamed Wuhan Textile University. The university adheres to the socialist school running direction, fully implements the Party's education policy, takes the construction of a high-level university with distinctive characteristics as the strategic goal, and adheres to the development with characteristics and open school running. Adhering to the discipline construction idea of "unified leadership, diversified advancement, highlighting characteristics and coordinated development", the university has established five university departments, set up 18 colleges (departments) and 3 research institutes, covering 7 disciplines including science, engineering, literature, law, economics, management and art, and has 15 first level disciplines and 9 professional degree authorization categories for master's degrees. Over the past 60 years, Wuhan Textile University has always resonated with the times and walked in the same direction, achieving a better life for generations of teachers and students, and constantly realizing the people's yearning for a better life.
Chen Siqi introduced the development of the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation and the "Textile Light" public welfare project. By the end of 2022, the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation has supported 1710 textile science and technology awards, 4558 outstanding teachers and students, 2397 outstanding teaching achievement awards, 136 innovative contribution awards for knitted underwear, 83 applied basic research, 339 scientific and technological achievements promotion, 325 national textile industry technical experts, 16 outstanding contribution awards for skilled personnel cultivation and 33 award-winning units. Since 1997, the expenditure on science and technology education public welfare activities has exceeded 100 million yuan, which has played a positive role in promoting the development of textile science and technology education.
At the meeting, Zhong Wei and Jiang Xuewei, the award-winning teachers of the 2020-2022 "Textile Light" Education Award, shared their teaching experiences, educational research achievements and insights. They said that over the years, "Textile Light" has always supported the development of science, technology and education in the industry, and has cultivated a number of outstanding talents. The "Textile Light" teacher award and student award have made great contributions to the development of education, the growth of outstanding students and even industrial upgrading.
The 2021 "Light of Textile" China Textile Federation Textile Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award Grand Prize winning project "Construction and Practice of" Textile Materials Science "Integration into Curriculum Ideology and Politics", "Exploration and Practice of" Industry Economy Integration "Textile Foreign Trade Talents Practice and Innovation Ability Training Mode under the New Liberal Arts Background", "Based on" Cultural Heritage, Multi synergy " Li Jianqiang, Wu Ying and Yan Jun, the main authors of "Construction and Implementation of International Fashion Creative Talents Training Mode", reported and communicated on the project respectively.
Li Jianqiang introduced that one of the innovation points of the project results is to form a curriculum ideological and political teaching system. Consolidate the ideological and political curriculum into the teaching system, and form the curriculum syllabus and teaching plan integrated with the ideological and political objectives of the curriculum; Integrate the deeds of typical people around and scientific research achievements into the teaching content to form a characteristic curriculum ideological and political resource library. With the help of the project reform, the school has formed a complete set of ideological and political resources for the course "Textile Materials".
Wu Ying introduced the innovation points of the project: building a talent training mode of "integration of industry and economy+competition driven+multi synergy" with practical innovation ability as the main line, and training international economic and trade talents to adapt to the development of the textile industry; Construct "1136" practical teaching system to improve students' practical innovation ability; Construct the teaching mode of "two transformations, five bases" to cultivate students' ability to solve problems; Construct the quality assurance system of "536" practical teaching, and form a campus culture that attaches importance to quality.
Yan Jun said that the innovation of the project is mainly reflected in the integration of educational concepts, the progressive nature of module courses, the experience of teaching process, the global nature of quality assurance, and the depth of cross-border cooperation. Through more than four years of continuous exploration and reflection practice, the research achievements accumulated by the project have won unanimous praise both inside and outside Hubei Province.
Hang Jiahe, Li Shaoxin, Zhou Jiahui, Lu Zili and Cheng Zhe, winners of the 2020-2022 "Textile Light" Education Award, introduced their academic achievements and future plans. The students said that they were honored to be awarded the "Textile Light" scholarship. In the future, they will continue to work in the textile field and contribute to the development of national textile modernization.

On the basis of the "Qian Zhiguang Science and Technology Education Fund" established in 1996, the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation was established by a group of outstanding textile enterprises, institutions and individuals with a high sense of mission and responsibility who are willing to make contributions to the scientific and educational progress of China's textile industry. In May 2008, it was registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs as the National Textile Industry Foundation, with a registered capital of 20 million yuan.
By the end of 2022, the Textile Light Science and Technology Education Foundation has supported 1710 textile science and technology awards, 4558 outstanding teachers and students, 2397 outstanding teaching achievement awards, 136 knitting underwear innovation contribution awards, 83 applied basic research, 339 scientific and technological achievements promotion, 325 national textile industry technology experts 16 people and 33 award-winning units won the Outstanding Contribution Award for Skilled Talents Cultivation.
