    On December 25, 2022, CIAA Held online CIAA Group Standard Press Conference 2022 And released T/CIAA 103.2-2022 Antibacterial Technical Specifications to the public Part 2: Antifungal/Antifungal Products, T/CIAA 104.2-2022 General Requirements for Labeling Antifungal Products, Part 2: Antifungal Performance, T/CIAA 2016-2022 Antibacterial Toilet, T/CIAA 2017-2022 Test Methods and Evaluation of Anti mite and Anti mite Performance of Household Cleaning Products issued and implemented by CIAA in 2022 Antibacterial group standards


       01 Released 4 CIAA Group Standards for 2022

    It is reported that T/CIAA 103.2-2022 Antibacterial Technical Specifications Part 2: Antifungal/Antifungal Products and T/CIAA 104.2-2022 General Requirements for Labeling of Antibacterial Products Part 2: Antifungal Performance is the four basic group standards of CIAA T/CIAA 101-2021 Antibacterial Terminology, T/CIAA 102-2021 Basic Principles and Requirements for Antibacterial Testing, T/CIAA 103.1-2021 Antibacterial Technical Specifications Part 1: Antibacterial Products, T/CIAA 104.1-2021 General Requirements for Labeling of Antibacterial Products Part 1: Antibacterial properties. These two group standards were proposed by and under the jurisdiction of Zhongguancun Huizhi Antibacterial New Material Industry Technology Innovation Alliance. The drafting units include Guangdong Provincial Microbial Analysis and Testing Center, Strait (Jinjiang) Microbiology Co., Ltd., Jinjiang Tuopuwang Antifungal Materials Co., Ltd., Taizhou Ruikang Daily Necessities Technology Co., Ltd., China Science Advanced Engineering Plastics National Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd Shanghai Runhe Nanomaterial Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Guangdong Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay National Nanotechnology Innovation Institute, Guokerino (Zhongshan) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., SGS-CSTC Standard Technology Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Ganda Material Technology Research Co., Ltd., Institute of Physics and Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other more than 10 units.

      T/CIAA 2016-2022 "Antibacterial Toilet" was proposed by Foshan Hengjie Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., and was developed by Foshan Hengjie Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., Foshan Dongpeng Packaged Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd., Guangdong Mick Smart Home Co., Ltd., Wrigley Home Group Co., Ltd., Southwest Jiaotong University, China Science Advanced Engineering Plastics National Engineering Research Center Co., Ltd Beijing Aisi Er Technology Co., Ltd., Jinan Shenghe Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Microbial Analysis and Testing Center, Anhui Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Inspection, Taizhou Institute of Product Quality and Safety Inspection and other units jointly formulated.

      T/CIAA 2017-2022 The Testing Method and Evaluation of Anti mite and Anti mite Performance of Household Cleaning Products was proposed by Guangdong Provincial Microbial Analysis and Testing Center, and it was proposed by Dongping Jiuxin Biochemistry Co., Ltd., Guangdong Provincial Microbial Analysis and Testing Center, Guangdong Timson Health Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Dimei New Material Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Jiadanting Daily Necessities Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Institute of Microbiology Co., Ltd., EOF (Shanghai) Testing Technology Co., Ltd., SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd., Institute of Physicochemical Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other units jointly developed.


       02 Group standard formulation started in 2017

    This is not the beginning of the standard work of the CIAA community. In fact, as early as 2017, in view of the lack of market standards for antibacterial and deodorant socks, CIAA organized enterprises and testing units related to antibacterial and deodorant socks to jointly develop T/NAHIEM 004-2017 Antibacterial and deodorant socks and T/NAHIEM 005-2017 deodorant socks are two group standards.

    In 2018, CIAA started to accelerate the development of group standards after logging on the national group standards information platform and obtaining the qualification for group standards release.

    Up to now, in addition to the six basic project group standards mentioned above, according to the latest understanding of antibacterial application scenarios, CIAA has organized Nanjing Tongxi Group Co., Ltd. as the project initiation unit to formulate and publish seven antibacterial application scenario group standards, including but not limited to T/CIAA 201-2020 Guidelines for the Application of Antifungal (Anti fungal) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environment Part 1: General Principles, T/CIAA 202-2020 Healthy Indoor Environment Application Guide for Anti (Bacterial) and Antifungal Materials and Products Part 2: Family Residence, T/CIAA 203-2020 Application Guide for Anti (Bacterial) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environment Part 3: Hotels, T/CIAA 204-2020 Guidelines for the Application of Antibacterial (Antifungal) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environments, Part 4: Commercial Places, T/CIAA 205-2020 Application Guide for Antifungal (Anti fungal) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environment Part 5: Education and Training Places, T/CIAA 206-2020 Application Guide for Antifungal (Anti fungal) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environment Part 6: Public Transport, T/CIAA 207-2021 Guide for the Application of Antifungal (Anti fungal) and Antifungal Materials and Products in Healthy Indoor Environment Part 7: Public Places.

    At the same time, CIAA has also organized and formulated T/CIAA 016-2022 Antibacterial Toilet, T/CIAA There are more than 17 group standards for antibacterial products, including 017-2022 Test Methods and Evaluation of Anti mite and Anti mite Performance of Household Cleaning Products.


       03 Promote the construction of antibacterial standard system, not just group standards

    Industrial development, standards first. Promoting the construction of the antibacterial standard system has been the work of CIAA since its preparation for establishment in 2002. In 2003, QB/T2591-2003 Antibacterial Plastics - Antibacterial Performance Test Methods and Antibacterial Effects was officially released and implemented. This is the first industry standard formulated under the auspices of CIAA, marking a breakthrough in CIAA standardization.

    Since then, CIAA has successively led or participated in the preparation and revision of JC/T 939-2004, HG/T 3794-2005, FZ/T 73023-2006, HG/T 3950-2007、JC/T 1054-2007、QB/T 2850-2007、YB/T 4171-2008、FZ/T 62015-2009、JC/T 2039-2010、SN/T 2399-2010、LY/T 1926-2010、HG/T 4317-2012、QB/T 4371-2012、QB/T Nearly 20 industry standards, including 2881-2013, SN/T 3840.2-2014, JC/T 897-2014, and GB 21551.1-2008, GB 21551.2-2010、GB 21551.3-2010、GB 21551.4-2010、GB 21551.5-2010、GB 21551.6-2010、GB/T 21510-2008、GB/T 21866-2008、GB/T 23763-2009、GB/T 24170.1-2009、GB/T 28116-2011、GB/T 31402-2015、GB/T 31713-2015、GB/T 36391-2018, GB/T 38017-2019, GB/T 39630-2020, GB/T 1741-2020 and other nearly 20 national standards.

    In addition, CIAA also actively participates in the development of ISO international standards. As early as 2004, Dr. Ji Junhui, a CIAA expert, participated in the development of the international standard of ISO antibacterial as an expert of the ISO China Working Group. This is the beginning of CIAA's participation in the development of international standards for ISO antibacterial on behalf of China. Up to now, CIAA has participated in the development of 22196:2000 (currently updated to ISO 22196:2011), ISO 20743:2007 (currently updated to ISO 20743:2021, ISO 16187:2013, ISO 18184:2014 (currently updated to ISO 18184:2019), ISO 20150:2019, ISO 21702: 2019 and other ISO antibacterial standards.

    In 2021, CIAA will cooperate with Chengdu Institute of Standardization strategically and apply to the National Standardization Administration Committee for ISO/TC330 domestic technical counterpart, which will be approved in 2022.


       04 Conclusion

    There is a long way to go in the construction of the antibacterial marker system. Facing the world and focusing on industrial demand, the development of CIAA antibacterial standards is still continuing.
