Shanghai Clothing Industry Held Steady Recovery

The autumn exhibition of 2020 China International Clothing and apparel Expo opened in Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. The three-day exhibition not only shows the latest trend of the clothing industry, but also builds a supply and demand platform for the participating enterprises.

It is understood that this is the first professional exhibition of all kinds of clothing held in Shanghai this year. The exhibition attracted 486 enterprises to participate in the exhibition, and 11 exhibition areas were set up, including men's and women's wear, children's wear, accessories, bags, shoes and shoes. At the exhibition, many clothing enterprises organized groups to participate in the exhibition, bringing the latest fashion products of this year, attracting the attention of the audience and buyers. Affected by the epidemic situation, many garment enterprises encountered difficulties in the first half of this year. With the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, clothing enterprises have gradually recovered.

Chen Qixiang, Secretary General of Wenzhou garment chamber of Commerce: since July, we have a recovery trend. From July, our foreign trade increased by more than 60%. By August, many enterprises may be better than the same period last year.

During the exhibition, more than 60 activities, such as various business forums and trade docking meetings, will be held to build a supply and demand docking platform for the participating enterprises, and help the clothing industry recover steadily.
