Chic: International Textile Federation 2020 Annual Meeting To Be Held

On September 21, the video conference of the board of directors of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation was held at 18:00 Beijing time. Members of the board of directors and successive presidents of the International Textile Federation attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Cheng Qihe (South Korea), President of the International Textile Federation, and mainly discussed matters related to the annual meeting of the International Textile Federation and the election of the board of directors.

Wang Tiankai, former chairman of the International Textile Federation and former president of the China Textile Industry Federation (hereinafter referred to as CFA), sun Ruizhe, vice president of the International Textile Federation and President of the China Textile Federation, Yang Zhaohua, vice president of the China Textile Federation, Yuan Hongping, deputy secretary general and director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the China Textile Federation, and Yan Yan, director of the social responsibility Office of the China Textile Federation, attended the meeting.

The meeting decided that the International Textile Federation 2020 annual conference will be held from October 20 to 22, 2020, and jointly organized by the Korea Fiber Industry Federation and the International Textile Federation Secretariat. The conference will be conducted in two ways: online live broadcast and pre recording broadcast, with on-site meeting sessions in Korea and Germany respectively. The theme of the conference is: new crown pneumonia epidemic: reshaping the global textile supply chain.

At that time, industry leaders, experts and scholars from all over the world will focus on "Korean textile industry", "management and data", "fiber (cotton + man-made fiber)", "sustainability and circular economy", "SLCP social labor integration project", "the future of China's textile industry", "climate action charter for fashion industry", "innovation and Technology Textiles" In depth exchanges and discussions were held on the nine topics of "textiles" and "cooperation". Sun Ruizhe, President of China Textile Industry Federation, will make a speech at the meeting with the title: the future of China's textile industry.

At the meeting, the Secretariat of the International Textile Federation informed the board that the 2021 annual meeting of the International Textile Federation would be held in Davos, Switzerland from September 26 to 28, 2021, to be hosted by the Swiss Textile Association and the Swiss Machinery Association Textile Machinery Association.

At the meeting, sun Ruizhe confirmed and issued an invitation to the board of directors. China Textile Industry Federation will host the 2022 annual conference of International Textile Federation. The time and place of the meeting will be determined in the next few months.

The meeting also discussed the election of the 2020 board of directors. The board of directors unanimously agreed to nominate sun Ruizhe (China) as the chairman of the International Textile Federation, swanisan (India) and Juan pres (Spain) as the vice chairman of the International Textile Federation, Maurer (Switzerland) as the financial officer of the international textile Union; and they named Mustafa danize (Turkey), Jia Yin (female, India), Jiang Tai Zhen (Korea), Xu Yingxin (China), Ji Ji Thailand / Indonesia is a member of the IFN board of directors.

The meeting decided that the next video conference of the board of directors would be held in mid October on the eve of the International Textile Federation 2020 annual meeting.
