Vietnam'S Ministry Of Industry And Commerce Said It Could Become A Large Producer Of Mask.

Recently, the leader of a large textile company in Vietnam shared the company's orders to buy 400 million medical masks, worth 52 million US dollars. This is a good news for Vietnam's textile industry in the context of huge pressure on Vietnam's multi billion dollar industry during the epidemic.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce and industry of Vietnam, only 50 enterprises reported to the Ministry of industry and commerce that the production capacity of masks can reach 8 million days, that is 200 million per month. The current common cloth masks are two layers, one of which is antibacterial fabric. Many enterprises have upgraded the production of 3 layers and 4 floors. Besides the antibacterial fabric, there is also a layer of waterproof cloth.

The leaders of the import and Export Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and industry of Vietnam affirmed that Vietnam has enough capacity to become a big country in the world to produce cloth masks. If Vietnam and other countries control epidemic diseases, if there is a surplus of domestic masks in Vietnam, various departments will consider and propose the government to create conditions for exporting medical masks.

At the same time, Vietnam Textile Group (Vinatex) launched the Vinatex brand mask product to the market. The use of Vinatex high quality fiber materials and special textile technology helps to keep the respirator soft and breathable and meet the stringent technical requirements of the anti epidemic respirator.

The antibacterial rate of Vinatex respirator reached 90%, which met Japanese JIS L1902 standard and American AATCC 100 standard.

Gao Yu Xiao, deputy general manager of Vietnam Textile Group, said that the monthly mask production of the group can reach 100 million, which can meet the large orders of organizations and individuals. The product is sold in 3 retail outlets of the group, with a daily supply of 100 thousand.
