Macao Fashion Festival: The Current Collection - Fashion Design Template Production Subsidy Program Works

In 2013, the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Culture Bureau first set up a "fashion design template Subsidy Plan" for Macao local fashion designers. This is a powerful measure to encourage and promote the original design of Macao local fashion. Applicants need to submit applications and manuscripts. After two stages of primary and final review, eight entries are selected, and the "winners" and their "selected works" are selected by the professional jury. The recipients can receive grants to produce fashion design samples and promotional materials, so as to encourage local fashion designers to engage in commercial activities or participate in international fashion exhibition activities, enhance the standard of local fashion design, publicize and promote the results of fashion design in Macao. At the same time, it is also hoped that with the professional experience of the judges in the fashion industry, the participants will be provided with advice during the review process, which will help improve the design concept, marketing and development plan. Since the launch of the program, many local fashion designers have applied enthusiastically, which has played a positive role in the local fashion design industry.
