Experts From Both Sides Of The Strait Discuss Textile Technology To Create Functional Textiles And Functional Textiles.

In April 20th, at the twelfth cross-strait Textile Science and technology seminar held at Qiingdao University, more than 160 experts and scholars from Hong Kong Polytech University, Taiwan Feng Jia University, Tainan applied science and Technology University, Sichuan University, Qiingdao University, Wuhan Textile University and so on, 160 experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on how to innovate functional textiles and functional textiles in textile technology.

The cross strait textile Exchange Council was established in 2005, covering many industrial, academic and research institutions across the Taiwan Strait.

The theme of this conference is "functional fiber and functional textiles", which aims to summarize the achievements made in the field of textiles in three areas across the Straits, discuss the new development direction of functional fibers and functional textiles, promote the pformation of scientific and technological achievements and scientific research achievements in the textile field, and provide a platform for textile education, science and technology workers and the business community to explore new ideas, new technologies and equipment for the development of textile science and technology.

Professor Sun Runjun, Professor Yao Mu of Xi'an Polytechnic University, associate professor Chen Hongen, associate professor of textile industry, Professor Sun Gang of University of California at Davis, Professor Hu Jinlian of Hong Kong Polytech University, Sun Guohua, chairman of Qingdao Tianyi Group Co., Ltd., academician of Chinese Academy of engineering, distinguished academician of Qiingdao University, Professor Wang Yuzhong and so on, respectively made the forum keynote report, and made a speech on the thinking and suggestion of textile comfort research, redefining the circular economy, the Novel Biocidal Fabrics for Biological Protections, the invention and modernization of silk, the "textile town of Qingdao" in the planning and construction, and the research of textile flame retardant, antibacterial, double thinning and multifunctional finishing.

The twelfth cross-strait Textile Science and Technology Symposium was hosted by the cross straits Textile Science and Technology Exchange Council. The functional textile and Advanced Materials Research Institute of Qiingdao University, the State Key Laboratory of the textile and clothing College of Qiingdao University, the bio polysaccharide fiber forming and eco textile Ministry jointly established the National Key Laboratory of marine biomass fiber materials and textiles and the collaborative innovation center of Shandong province.
