Tmall Merchants Qualification Changes: 26 Categories Suspended From April

Tmall made amendments to the Tmall qualification rules in March 29, 2019. The main change point is to adjust some categories to suspend entry, involving 26 categories.

It is understood that the scope of Tmall's qualification changes includes: clothing, footwear bags, sports outdoor, jewelry accessories, cosmetics (including beauty tools), home furnishings furniture, home textiles, books and audio-visual services, a total of 8 business categories:

Clothing category

"Clothing accessories / Belts / Hats / scarves" category franchise stores; "Ladies / ladies boutique" category stores, franchised stores; "men's wear" category stores, franchise stores; "ladies underwear / men's underwear / home clothes" category stores.

Footwear category

"Bags and leather goods / hot bags / male bags" category franchise stores; "women shoes" category franchise stores; "popular men's shoes" category franchise stores.

Sports outdoor class

"Sports shoes new" category franchise stores; sportswear / casual wear category stores; sports / Yoga / Fitness / fans supplies (football; basketball; badminton; volleyball; tennis; table tennis; golf category except) category stores;

Category stores of "electric vehicles / Accessories / vehicles" (except for electric vehicles / accessories, electric vehicle equipment areas, electric vehicle maintenance tools, and electric vehicle entity service categories).

"Bicycle / riding equipment / spare parts" (riding apparel / riding equipment, bicycle zero / accessories, bicycle / bicycle equipment, bicycle repair tools, bicycle entity service category) category stores.

"Outdoor / mountaineering / Camping / travel supplies" category stores; "sports bags / outdoor bags / Accessories" category stores.

Jewelry accessories category

"Watches" category franchise stores; "jewelry / fashion jewelry / fashion accessories new" category stores, exclusive stores; "jewelry / diamond / Jade / gold" category stores, exclusive stores.

Cosmetics (including beauty tools)

Nine special effects products such as hair products, hair dye, perm, hair removal, breast milk, bodybuilding, deodorant, freckle and sunscreen, beauty shops, hairdressing, hair perming, hair removal, beauty milk, bodybuilding, deodorant, freckle and sunscreen.

Home furnishings furniture home textiles category

"Home accessories" category franchise stores; "specialty handicraft" category franchise stores; "business / office furniture" category franchise stores; "bedding" category franchise stores; "home furnishings" category franchise stores; "flower express / flower simulation / Green gardening" category franchise stores.

Books and audio-visual categories
