In April 22, 2017, it was Hu Xiaofang's first time as a brand to formally sell to consumers through a mass market.

Before the shooting, a special flew to Beijing to rehearse with me. I prepared the fake business cards and identity cards to them and asked them to follow the script I wrote.

I didn't expect them to go to the local area very soon, and I received the news of the strike of my mother and aunt.

It turned out that the "staff" sent by the headquarters was out of order.

The staff member is a foreigner, played by a Japanese girl, but for the mothers, it is extremely unsafe to deal with the Japanese. Let alone continue to weave the hat, the mood of rejection makes it difficult to continue filming.

I can only change the script overnight, and arrange a miserable life for the Japanese girl. I can't stay with a Chinese father and a Japanese mother. When I planned to make "Hu Xiaofang" a brand, I opened a Taobao store, and each hat we would give it with the only ID card to indicate when the aunt was knitting.

Because the price of wool is more expensive, and is purely manual weaving, we put the cost higher, the price is relatively higher, the market opening effect is not good.

With more and more aunts joining, my financial pressure is also increasing.

When my economic pressure is very high, Xiaofang will also put money in. She has completely regarded herself as a little Fang. It is really a huge job to dock with dozens of auntie. She not only enjoys it, but also left it for this job.

She said to me, "these more than 10 years of work are all for the sake of life, which makes her see the meaning. It is not a waste of human life to do a meaningful thing."

However, under continuous losses, we still have to restrict the production of aunts.

At the beginning of last year, we would buy wool according to the order or plan, and then distribute it to the auntie.

Bikini exhibition 2018

In order to increase orders, I turned Xiaofang into my own art project.

Before that, we knitted a batch of pink caps for the parade of the US Anti trump. Recently, we completed a green hat order for St. Patrick's day in Ireland.

Now, the aidas are no longer making a fuss over these orders for crossing the sea. Although they do not know Trump, nor do they know where Ireland is, they are very happy, feel that they are very powerful, their works have gone abroad, and they can still hook up with the president.

In 2017, I invented the bikini festival in France and asked my aunts to design the bikini competition.

It is hard to accept a bra in a public place in a traditional village. The elderly aunt is very embarrassed.

Therefore, we did some ideological work from some young aunt. When we were driven by a two auntie, we soon compared it with the "bra".

Can you imagine a bikini on the freeway? This is an idea that no professional education designer will ever think of.

I received more than 100 bikini works after my aunt wrote for over a year.

At the end of 2018, I selected 85 of them, filmed and PS to model photos, and conducted a virtual T stage show.

At present, I am also negotiating with France to plan to send these bikini to France for exhibition.

There was no word for themselves in their lives, but knitted caps made them start to find themselves.

So, even if I do not really succeed in branding the "Hu Xiaofang" successfully, I will continue this art project as long as I can afford it.
