Total export value

The total value of textiles and clothing exports in 2018 1-12 amounted to US $7 billion 820 million, up 3% from the same period of the previous year. The main export items were cloth products, with an export value of US $4 billion 840 million, accounting for 62% of the total export value, followed by yarn products, accounting for 15% of the total export value, and the export value of garments and accessories was 490 million US dollars, accounting for 6% of the total export value.

The export value of all products was higher than that of the same period of the previous year, of which the largest growth rate was clothing and clothing accessories, accounting for 12%, while the export bulk products grew by 3%.

Total import value

The total value of imports in 2018 was $37 billion 710 million, up 8% from the same period of the previous year. The main import items were garments and clothing accessories. The import value was $28 billion 440 million, accounting for 76% of the total import value, followed by miscellaneous products, accounting for 12% of the total import value. 1-12.

The import value of all products was higher than that of the same period of the previous year, of which the largest growth was fiber, accounting for 14%, while imported bulk garments and apparel products grew by 8%.
