Brand Twinset Milano ushered in a new stage of development.
The most obvious change comes from
brand
The name of the brand name has been added to the original Twinset based on the wording of Milano (Milan), thus becoming a Twinset Milano.
Another big change is the design team. Simona Barbieri, co-founder of TWINSET S.p.A., has resigned the position of creative director while selling its stake in the 10% company to the company's largest shareholder, Carlyle Group. The new design team also brought a new flavor to the fashion brand founded in 1990.

In 1990, Tiziano Sgarbi and wife Simona Barbieri co founded Twinset.
The brand name literally means "two piece suit". Its women's garments are mainly knitted chiffon, and the design process is exquisite. From fabric to design, the essence of the traditional Italy brand is implemented: elegance and refinement.
Most products are made of natural materials such as cotton, silk and wool. Besides clothing, TWINSET S.p.A. also produces shoes, handbags, underwear, swimsuits, accessories, children's clothing and other products.
In 2012, Carlyle Group acquired Twinset 70% stake and increased to 90% in 2015.
In terms of business performance, the company CEO Alessandro Varisco recently interviewed Italy mainstream media Il Sole 24 Ore, said: "TWINSET S.p.A. sales in 2017 is expected to reach 2.45 billion euros.
EBITDA (interest tax depreciation and profit before amortization) also achieved a net increase. "
TWINSET S.p.A. sales in 2016 amounted to 243 million euros, adjusted EBITDA was 43 million 600 thousand euros.
Alessandro Varisco also confirmed that the company's current 2018 spring and summer orders have exceeded the budgetary balance.
As for the 2018 plan, Alessandro Varisco said the company will open more new stores, especially to expand its overseas market.
Recently, Twinset Milano has opened a new flagship store in New York, and the London store is opening in the spring of 2018.
As of the end of September 2017, Twinset Milano has 80 boutiques, outlets and 54 franchises in Italy, Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the United States.
Another development focus of TWINSET S.p.A. in 2018 is the expansion of e-commerce channels. Alessandro Varisco estimates that online channels will "contribute 4%'s brand sales".
