At present, the proportion of aging population in Fujian has reached 13.41%.
In order to deal with the grim situation of the aging population, the regulations on the protection of the rights and interests of the elderly in Fujian have been implemented in March 1st.
The regulations stipulate that the parents of only children are 60 years of age and when they are hospitalized, the employer should support their children in nursing care, and give them a nursing time of not more than 10 days per year.
In the past, the regulations also set the corresponding legal responsibility: the relevant agencies or organizations do not pay the wages and benefits for the only child care period, and the people's society or the relevant departments shall be ordered to pay the time limit. The employer will face a fine of more than 2000 yuan or less than 20000 yuan in violation of the regulations, and will also be listed as a key regulator of the wage payment behavior.
The employers who are seriously discredited will be included in the "black list" of the Department of human resources and industry and the competent departments of the industry. They will be restricted in bidding, market access, financing and credit.

In September last year, the Executive Committee of the Beijing municipal government deliberated and passed the plan for the development of the aging industry in Beijing during the 13th Five-Year period.
This is also the first time that Beijing has stepped up the development plan of the aging industry as a key special plan.
According to the plan, Beijing will create an "elderly friendly city" and encourage it.
