    How To Improve Workplace Efficiency: Develop Your Motivation

    It's normal that we won't feel energetic every single day.

    But how do we start our work in this situation?

    In the morning, I wake up with energy and are ready to face the challenges of the day.

    But sometimes I feel heavy and can't find the inner motivation.

    On the way to the goal, I may get into trouble because I will encounter roadblocks, highlands and valleys on the way, and I may lose in the process and feel all the power will disappear.

    Today, I want to share with you three of my favorite and most practical skills to help you find momentum.

    1. do ten minutes of charging exercise.

    The specific steps are as follows:

    Find a quiet place to sit down, close your eyes and ask yourself the following two questions:

    1) if I continue to live according to the existing state, what will my life be like five years from now?

    2) what kind of bad life would my life become? What would my friends be like?

    It may be uncomfortable to do so, but try to vividly depict the negative scenes and results in your mind in order to effectively stimulate your motivation and make positive changes.

    Then ask yourself:

    1) what will my life be like if I change myself and stick to it for a year? If I insist on it for five years?

    2) if I change myself, and

    Insist

    Not only me, but also those I love, how will their lives improve?

    When you ask yourself these two questions, try to find out the details and vivid pictures of the future, and also find out what you want to make these changes.

    Personal factors

    What is it?

    For example, having a better figure can make me more optimistic and energetic.

    This is good, but spend a few minutes to find that deeper, more personal inner drive.

    The answer may be that I want to make changes to ensure my health, because if I don't do that, I can't have enough energy to play with my children when they are young.

    And when he grows up, I will have no time to accompany him every day because of busy work.

    If I want to make changes in my spending habits, it may be because I have always wanted to go to Egypt to see Pyramid, or to go to Maldives with my favorite people in the world.

    Please write down the most original and deepest reasons and stick it to a place you will see everyday.

    2. let the power of others affect themselves.

    Another simple way to get yourself back to power is to tap the sources and perspectives of other people's motivation.

    Chat with people around you, talk about their dreams, and how they inspire themselves to achieve their dreams step by step.

    But don't just be limited to people you know in real life.

    For example, I would motivate myself by listening to an audio book from Brian Tracy or Wayne Dale (Wayne Dyer), or reading a chapter in my favorite personal growth book, or going to see the articles in my favorite blog, Bohn Tracey.

    As far as my experience is concerned, it takes only five to ten minutes to help you change your mindset and rediscover your motivation.

      

    3. start with what you want to do.

    Although the two methods mentioned above are very effective, it is hard to avoid meeting with them. What should I do at this time?

    Sometimes the simplest need is to rest and recharge.

    Or, like I did in some morning without spirit and motivation, I would not start to manage the motivation, but still start my day's work.

    My practice is to finish a small part every time, and pay attention to that part of my work wholeheartedly.

    For example, I will tell myself that in the next three minutes, I will write papers or modify the new topics I have prepared.

    When this step is completed, I will work out a new task and focus on this task until it is completed.

    At the very beginning, it would be boring to do so, but this is a step that you can accept.

    Of course, this situation will not always be maintained.

    The next step will be simpler and more interesting.

    Step by step, motivation slowly followed my steps, and I began to enjoy myself.
