We may prefer real clothes to virtual ones.

But this does not mean that the concept of virtual clothing has been completely forgotten.

Holland artist Pinar&Viola recently launched a project to create a holographic image in the Amsterdam Fashion Week in Amsterdam.

Show, a real model shows a series of virtual costumes designed by them.

These clothes are characterized by having many eyes and mouths, and pforming them into animated characters. They hope to show the theme of animism in this way.

The so-called universal theory is that everything in the world has a soul or natural spirit, and affects other natural phenomena among controls.

Pinar&Viola explained: "we believe that the reason why people buy, discard, and not treat clothes in the right way is because we do not feel any connection with these inanimate objects.

This is why we have created such a fashion show experience to visualize the soul of clothes and tell them that they should treat their clothes like friends. "

This fashion show is co founded with Amber Slooten.

Amber Slooten is a fashion designer in Holland and graduated from Amsterdam Fashion Institute (Amsterdam Fashion Design Institute).

Part of her graduation design is the use of mixed reality, showing virtual fashion in holographic images.

Fashion designer and university lecturer Peter Leferink is the dean of Amsterdam Fashion Design Institute. He invited Slooten and Pinar&Viola to create a hologram fashion show for Amsterdam fashion week to show the future of the fashion industry.

This project has high technical requirements. Slooten built the 3D model for clothing simulation, while Pinar&Viola acted with the fashion show director Kim Vos to design the action of the real model, and captured the model Nelle Swan and then maps it to the virtual reality.

3D artist Roxanne Gatt designs facial animation for clothing, and adds texture to clothes through C4D technology.

Perle's illusion (Pepper s ghost) is very popular in nineteenth Century. The simulation shows what the future holographic imaging technology can do. With the movement of Swan, the clothes projected onto her will change with the change of the model action.

Slooten's hybrid reality is inspired by Magic Leap and Microsoft's HoloLens, and she hopes to explore future holographic clothing.

Slooten said: "I realized that I didn't want to make real fashions. These clothes will only dust in my closet. Maybe these clothes will be used to take some pictures for magazines, but that's all.

We all have virtual identities, but they are hidden behind screens.

Why not let everyone see it? I am a fashion designer. I am interested in the body and the way the body passes through the cloth.

Whether it's virtual, flame, hair or other virtual entities, I don't mind.

The virtual world has so much material that I can never use these materials in real life, and this will be the goal of the next fashion collection.

"By creating an attractive environment for fashion shows in virtual environments, we can inspire others to save resources, time, space, and protect our ecosystem," Pinar&Viola said.

With this fashion show, we want to tell you that this technology is playing an important role in the future of fashion, the future of the industry and the future development of the earth. "
