The 6 "entity + electricity supplier" enterprises also achieved a year-on-year growth rate of 15.8%.
By contrast, the sales growth rate of 87 entities in the top 100 retailers continued to decline in recent years, with a growth rate of only 3.2% in 2015.
The sales growth rate of department stores mainly decreased by 3.5 percentage points year-on-year, of which 22 enterprises had negative growth, while the sales growth rate of supermarkets mainly decreased by 1.4 percentage points year-on-year, and 7 enterprises had negative growth.
At the Eleventh China retailers conference and exhibition held recently, Zheng Wen, director of the Department of circulation development of the Ministry of Commerce, said: at present, the consumption of residents presents new characteristics of individuation, diversification and quality, paying more attention to brand, service and experience.
The entity retailing enterprises must speed up pformation and innovation, and form new formats and new modes to meet the new demand of consumption as soon as possible.
Insiders said that in recent years, the new shopping center format is rising everywhere, and has become the preferred place for urban residents to consume.
A few days ago, at the "2016 China shopping center and fashion retail development forum" held in Beijing, the 2015 China shopping center development report jointly released by China Chain Store Association and World Bank Richard Ellis showed that by the end of 2015, 17 large and medium-sized cities in China had completed the total retail stock of 61 million 200 thousand square meters.
At present, there are 323 construction projects in the country, with a total construction area of 32 million square meters, and 9 of the top 10 shopping centers in the world are in China.
In the next 1 to 2 years, there will be more than 300 shopping centers covering more than 100 thousand square meters in these cities.
According to the report, nearly 60% of the high quality shopping centers are urban shopping centers.
Such projects are usually located in the core business area where pportation is convenient, retail atmosphere is mature and passenger flow is stable. Therefore, the average vacancy rate is only 5%, and the average premium of the first floor rents is about 40%.
Pei Liang, Secretary General of the China Chain Store Association, said that in the new consumption era, the younger generation became the main consumer force, and they pursued quality, brand and taste, thus promoting the rise of shopping centers and other formats.
Of course, in order to deal with the challenges of economic downturn and business expansion, shopping centres must also speed up service innovation.
