Headquarter base Co., Ltd., Dongguan Huabao Shoes Co., Ltd., chairman of Dongguan world shoe industry headquarters.

In 1996, Zhang Huarong founded Dongguan Huajian shoe industry Co., Ltd., and became the predecessor of Huajian international group. In 2007, he was selected as the magazine "Asian shoe industry". In 2009, the Huajian group he founded was selected by the Dongguan Municipal People's government as "upgrading and pformation enterprise of foreign capital".

He was praised as "China" in the industry.

    Godfather.

    Hard start

Zhang Huarong, like his contemporaries, was born at the time of the great leap forward in 1958. Three years of food shortage in the whole country grew up with rice soup and wild vegetables.

In 1965, when I started school, I soon ran into the "Cultural Revolution". Because of turmoil and poverty, I dropped out of junior high school for a few days.

In 1979, Zhang Huarong, who was just 20 years old, chose to join the army and become a soldier in the 32813 unit of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

Three years of army life not only made Zhang Huarong strong will, but also absorbed and absorbed the fine style and glorious tradition of his army. This experience is the first valuable asset in his life.

After he left the army, he was confronted with a good policy of reform and opening up. He worked as a carpenter and did all kinds of small businesses.

He thought that he must rely on his hands to shake off poverty.

In 1984, he went to Zhejiang to sell shoes and sold it to Jiujiang, Jiangxi, earning thousands of yuan.

At that time, he thought that the long distance trip between Jiangxi and Zhejiang was too much trouble and the cost was high.

He felt that shoes in Zhejiang were better than their hometown, and they made good connections with them and became apprentices.

In the second half of 1984, he returned to his hometown and spent 4500 yuan with his family to open his own shoe factory and borrow 3 units.

15 workers were asked to vacate their own farmhouse to make a workshop. They made "Beijing cloth shoes" and sold them to nearby markets.

In a spirit of indomitable struggle and military spirit, in a few years, he made "Beijing cloth shoes" in his hometown. He has moved to Nanchang suburb, and the scale of production has gradually expanded.

After the shoe factory moved to Nanchang, it first produced and sold itself, and later made orders for foreign trade companies, which reached a maximum of 560 people, with an annual output value of 10 million yuan.

But later, influenced by the western countries' "anti-dumping" storm against China, Zhang Huarong's shoe factories had no orders for a long time, or even faced with bankruptcy.

He clenched his teeth with the strength of the soldier's "do not give up", and secretly urged himself: "never sit still."

In May 1996, he brought 300 thousand yuan and more than 80 old employees to Dongguan, Guangdong.

At that time, the footwear industry in Dongguan was basically the world of Taiwanese and Hongkong people. He was the first mainland entrepreneur to enter the footwear industry.

Dongguan's market is big and foreign businessmen are gathering. He feels he has found the right place.

He first set up an office in Dongguan to develop, sample and order.

In October of the same year, he decided to buy a Taiwanese shoe factory which was going to close down in Houjie town of Dongguan, and with 1 million yuan, the factory and equipment were put down together, and Dongguan Huajian Shoes Co., Ltd. was set up to start a new land for its shoe industry kingdom.

    Accumulate thick and thin

When I first arrived in Dongguan, I had great difficulties.

Because in Jiangxi is cloth shoes, is low-grade products, and in Dongguan to make leather shoes, and the use of modern water production line, this kind of discomfort has made him depressed for a long time.

Due to the lack of management and technical personnel, and no stable orders, all rely on their own exploration, Huajian Shoes Co., Ltd. soon debt, and for several months no wages.

Seeing that the company is going to step forward in the footsteps of the "former" Taiwanese shoe factory, it will soon face bankruptcy. His spirit and will are also breaking down. He even wants to run away and take several containers to Russia.

But then I think that running away will not only bring home the family members, but will also harm the entire factory staff and become a prisoner of the people's army.

It is the military spirit of "indomitable, never say die" that lets him cling to his teeth and stick to the "darkness before dawn". The opportunity is coming to him again. This time he is ready.

At that time, Taiwanese had pricing power in the shoe market of Dongguan. Under fierce market competition, many foreign businessmen planned to join hands with mainland shoe manufacturers.

The world's famous shoe trader, Mr. forun, took a fancy to Huajian Shoes Co., Ltd., with about 300000 orders for the first order.

As soon as Zhang Huarong saw the opportunity, he opened the situation at any cost. He took a 5% to 10% bid price than the Taiwan funded factories and the Hong Kong funded factories. He accepted a large number of orders and opened a firm foothold.

By 1999, Huajian shoes industry was rising rapidly, becoming the largest female shoe manufacturer in mainland China, and became a strong competitor for Taiwan businessmen.

At that time, rumours were that Taiwanese businessmen believed that Zhang Huarong had bought the market at a low price and had "damaged the market".

Even convening a special meeting of the Taiwanese businessmen, he said, "we must try to break down Huajian, otherwise it will become a black sheep of Dongguan's footwear industry."

Rumors were not groundless. At that time, many shoemaking enterprises began to suppress and "encircle and suppress" the Huajian company.

Since 1999, shoe supplier has offered no longer supplies to Huajian shoe industry.

The employees were both frustrated and nervous, but Zhang Huarong laughed at the pressure and difficulties. He encouraged everyone: "the solution is always more difficult than that."

He integrated resources, recruits, and purchased equipment. He started running Huajian shoe material factory, Huajian PU Da Di branch, Huajian shoemaking three factory, four factory, mould branch factory and so on. He really became a supplier himself.

Since 1999, in just 6 years, more than 10 subsidiaries of Huajian group have sprung up. They have not only built up a perfect industrial chain, but also improved their manufacturing capability.

    Serve the society

As a responsible entrepreneur, Zhang Huarong thinks that Huajian group is not alone. She belongs to the society. Everyone who loves Huajian is her master.

Enterprises have developed and should spare no effort to dedicate themselves to the society.

In 2006, he donated 1 million 200 thousand yuan to build a hope primary school in Nanchang, Jiangxi. In 2009, when the earthquake struck Wenchuan, he donated more than 140 yuan to the disaster area. He was selected by the Red Cross Society of Ganzhou as the "5.12" advanced individual for earthquake relief. In the same year, he was awarded the "progressive disabled person in China" by the disabled people's Working Committee of the State Council. Over the years, he donated money to charities and public welfare undertakings for over about 20000000 years.

Zhang Huarong said: "whether it is a person or an enterprise, we should put the responsibility first.

I hope that Huajian group will be bigger and stronger because of the improvement of social harmony and business environment, and also hope that the society will become better because of Huajian group's growth.
