"Foreign Girl" Has Been Soaked In Chinese Clothing Brand.

Recently, Taiping bird group, a Chinese fashion retailer in the Middle East, has invested in the French fashion designer Alexis Mabille, to fill the gap in the high-end fashion retail industry.

As consumers spend more on the budget of high-end clothing categories, many brands choose to buy, joint-venture and share foreign high-end fashion brands to make themselves "high-end".

So what brands have been promoted in recent years?

In July, the Limited by Share Ltd of Guangzhou's "Nu Di Lu" Fashion Co., Ltd. bought 51% of the "TheAntwerpSix (Ante Whipp La gentleman)" brand designed by DirkBikkembergs for the same name sports fashion brand 40 million 680 thousand.

Raymond Lam, chief financial officer, said the group's investment plan for DirkBikkembergs was about 130 million euros, of which 60 million euros was used for DirkBikkembergs's international retail expansion.

As the first step of expansion, DirkBikkembergs will focus on the US market without retail or wholesale business in the next 6-8 months. Asian expansion will start with the flagship store opened in Macao in 2016, and will add 5 flagship stores to the most strategic cities in China.

The remaining 70 million euros will be used to build DirkBikkembergs e-commerce business.

It covers men's, women's wear, shoes and bags.

Perfume, glasses and other DirkBikkembergs stores in Italy, France, Spain and other countries, covering the Middle East, the United States and Asian markets, earning 100 million euros in 2014.

China's mid end apparel retailer Pacific bird group has invested in the French designer Alexis Mabille, and plans to help the latter open its sales network in Greater China.

The Taiping bird group, which began in 1989, already has Hirsch Menswear, Bei Shi Bao Mens, Lok Ting,

Mini Peace and so on. Now, the accession of Alexis Mabille will fill the gap of high-end fashion retail for Taiping bird group.

It is understood that Taiping bird intends to open hundreds of stores for the Alexis Mabille brand. The first Alexis Mabille China store is expected to open in Beijing or Shanghai in 2017 or 2018. The Taiping bird group will open 3 or 4 stores to test the market reaction. If the acceptance level is good, it will quickly open 30-40 stores in the first and second tier cities.

In response, Alexis Mabille was satisfied with Taiping bird group's plan and said that Taiping bird group is still optimistic about the development potential of the Chinese market.
