Textile And Clothing Project Highlights China Asia Europe Expo

China Asia Europe Expo held the signing ceremony of the Silk Road Economic Belt promotion and key projects jointly. Xinjiang signed 22 textile and clothing projects, signing a contract amount of 28 billion 932 million yuan, accounting for 20.15% of the total contracted industrial projects, and the proportion increased 16.22 percentage points from the previous one.

Substantial increase in contract volume

On the signing ceremony of the Silk Road Economic Belt promotion and key projects, Xinjiang signed 203 domestic economic cooperation projects and signed a total of 200 billion 608 million yuan.

There are 173 projects outside the region, the contract amount is 190 billion 745 million yuan, 30 projects in the region, and the signing amount is 9 billion 863 million yuan.

During the 203 key contract projects of the Asia Europe Expo, the contract projects mainly involve 13 fields: electric power, chemical industry, textile and garment, trade and logistics, real estate, cultural tourism, iron and steel, nonferrous metals, coal, coal and electricity silicon, agriculture, machinery and electrical equipment, light industry, agricultural and sideline products processing, building materials and medicine.

There are 8 cities with more than ten billion contracted projects, 39 billion 631 million yuan in Urumqi, 25 billion 788 million yuan in Turpan, 25 billion 360 million yuan in Aletai, and 25 billion 220 million yuan in Kashi area.

Data show that the contract industry has 11 projects in the first industry, the contract amount is 3 billion 760 million yuan, accounting for 1.87% of the total contract, second industrial projects are 125, the signing amount is 143 billion 550 million yuan, accounting for 71.56% of the total contracted amount, third industrial projects 67, the contract amount 53 billion 298 million yuan, accounting for 26.57% of the total contract.

At the signing ceremony, Xinjiang signed 22 textile and garment items from Guangdong, Shandong, Sichuan, Zhejiang and other textile and garment giants, signing a contract amount of 28 billion 932 million yuan, accounting for 20.15% of the total contracted items of industrial projects, and the proportion increased 16.22 percentage points from the previous one.

The signing amount of textile and clothing projects is second only to the power and chemical industry. It is a highlight of this key contract project.

5 cities in southern Xinjiang

There are 14 clothing items, with a contract amount of 25 billion 392 million yuan, accounting for 87.76% of the total contracted items of textile and clothing items.

Textile industry accelerates westward advance

It is worth mentioning that this Asia Europe Expo has set up a textile and garment industry hall with nearly 6000 square meters and 150 booths on the theme of "national strategy and Industrial Opportunity" for the first time.

Different from the previous two sessions, the current clothing festival and the Asia Europe Expo were held at the same time to attract leading enterprises in the textile and garment industry to participate in the exhibition. The number and specifications of the exhibitors in Xinjiang local garment enterprises were higher than in previous years.

In the A share listed companies, Tianshan textile is the only textile and garment enterprise participating in the exhibition.

The support level of the state and autonomous regions for textile and clothing is unprecedented, including the establishment of a special fund for the development of textile and garment industry with a scale of about 20 billion yuan.

For the development of textile and garment industry, Xinjiang proposed that by 2023, the total output value of textile and garment industry reached 212 billion 500 million yuan, and the total industrial chain's employment capacity reached 1 million.

Recently, the autonomous region has put forward a series of policy recommendations to the state and autonomous region for the development of Xinjiang's textile and clothing industry.

These include strengthening national policy support, actively undertaking industrial gradient pfer, attracting domestic garment processing enterprises to invest in Xinjiang, and speeding up the construction of Xinjiang China Textile and garment trading center; supporting and organizing garment enterprises to expand market in Central Asia and Russia.

In recent years, with the attraction of resources, energy costs, land and preferential policies, domestic textile enterprises have accelerated the pace of investment in Xinjiang, and the domestic textile industry has accelerated westward advance.

At present, the capacity of newly built and reconstituted cotton textile production in Xinjiang has accounted for about 85% of the total capacity within the territory.
