    With deep professional skills, Gong Naijie has won wide acclaim and unanimous recognition in the industry for his accurate grasp of fashion trends, the ability to predict and the keen insight into fashion trends.


    Just when people thought that Gong Naijie's fashion career would go farther and farther in the international arena, he turned around in August 2011 and joined Fujian's seven wolf industrial Limited by Share Ltd to become the director of the center for commodity design.

    Reporter: what have you brought to your future work in Italy?


    Gong Naijie: in China's design institutes, students' works are usually more creative than material choices. It seems that professors deliberately cultivate students' imagination while ignoring the problem of disengaging from the market.

    In Italy, professors who focus on market fit will not let you make clothes that can not be worn.

    Walking on the streets of Italy, you will find that Italy men are very good fashion samples. In their work, I will draw on their style of clothing for reference.


    Reporter: what kind of coincidence makes you choose to return home?

    Gong Naijie: actually, every time I came back to China, I saw the shops of seven wolves in many cities. This, to a certain extent, showed the market appeal and influence of the brand in China. It also made me believe that the overall strength of the seven wolves brand has already been equipped with chips for competition with foreign men's wear brands.

    At present, men's clothing brands in China are paying more and more attention to their brand value and culture. The quality control of products and the integration ability of upstream and downstream industry chains are constantly learning and exploring.

    At the same time, more and more powerful local brands are eager to expand on the international platform. This strong and clear brand appeal coincides with my own career planning.

    Through the cooperation with the Italy clothing brand, I also hope to bring back some of the integration experience that I have accumulated in foreign countries and apply it to domestic brands.

    What are the differences in design?


    Gong Naijie: first of all, there are many differences between the two countries in the integration and management of each node in the industrial chain.

    Besides, after going deep into the work of seven wolves, the biggest feeling is that Chinese and Italian enterprises have different styles of work.

    Specifically, thanks to the maturity of the modern fashion industry, Italy has a complete chain of fashion industry, where designers from inspiration to fashion information, and then to the procurement of accessories, processing will be presented as a garment, and finally to packaging products into commodities, is a complete and industry standard process.

    Now, what I want to do is to gradually bring in a set of foreign mature and incomplete Chinese enterprises into the seven wolves.

    But this is not all copying, but selectively combining with the original mode of China, and ultimately creating a Chinese and western industry chain integration mode.

    What is the design style?


    Gong Naijie: with the development of information, the eyes of domestic consumers are also very broad. They can accept fashion styles which are very new and very avant-garde.

    In this seven wolves release show, the fashion we show is rigorous and pragmatic in style design, focusing on the quality of material in the choice of accessories, and try to filter out those seemingly exaggerated and empty elements.

    Of course, preciseness does not represent the rigidity of new products. On the contrary, in the design of some details, for example, the selection of trousers, we use a lot of woolen fabrics, classic flower patterns and steady colors, and many colorful colors are added to the color selection of socks.

    But I don't think I can accept it.


    Reporter: as the first batch of highly customized works released for the first time, how do you define the advanced customization of commercial symbols marked with "seven wolves"? What are the special requirements for clothing fabrics?


    Gong Naijie: in the minds of many people, I always think that high customization is equivalent to the unreachable tuxedo. What I want to do is another way. It is a suit made of luxurious fabrics and tailored.

    Advanced customization is not a gorgeous fashion, but a fine suit in life.

    At this press conference, you can see that we have several styles of products, from hat to tie to suit, all of which are made of the same fabric.

    This design method makes people feel very special in vision, and the effect is very classic at the same time.


    Fashion is also classic.

    The positioning of celebrities series determines that we are not doing fast fashion, but to do well in the quality of products. The style is very classic. In my eyes, it is a kind of advanced.

    In addition, many high-end department stores in the mainland, high-end consumers can hardly buy the dress that suits him (her) to go to the banquet, which also provides us with room for development.

    Reporter: just now you talked about fashion and classic. So what are the characteristics of classic menswear in your mind?


    Gong Naijie: there is a big difference between the classic and the so-called fast fashion nowadays. It means that your wardrobe doesn't need to be changed every season, nor does it need to dress up from head to toe. On the contrary, I admire the harmony of the overall fabric matching.
