Zhejiang Leather Industry Association Held The Six Session

The six member conference of the leather industry association of Zhejiang province and the 2012 provincial leather industry working conference were held in from March 22nd to 23rd. The theme is: innovation and development, steady progress, creating a new situation in the leather industry of the whole province. Nearly 300 of Zhejiang provincial government leaders, special regional leaders, relevant associations, professional markets, business representatives, institutions and news media will be held.

On the afternoon of March 22nd, the Executive Council (enlarged) meeting was held by secret ballot to complete the organizational structure of the Sixth Council.

Comrade Li Weijuan was elected chairman of the Sixth Council of the leather industry association of Zhejiang Province, and 38 comrades, Ren FA, Zheng Xiukang, Yao Xia Qi, were vice chairman.

Comrade Guan Minjian was appointed Secretary General of the Sixth Council. Comrade Jiang Lei was appointed Deputy Secretary General of the Sixth Council.

The association specially appointed Ye Rongbao, deputy director of the tenth Provincial People's Congress and Feng Ming, deputy director of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress as honorary chairman.

At the six session of the General Assembly held in March 23rd, it deliberated and adopted the contents of the association's fifth session of the board's financial revenue and expenditure report, the association's financial and revenue management measures, the association's regulations, the work summary of the Fifth Council of the association and the 2011 work summary, and the work of the Sixth Council of the association and the 2012 work plan proposal, and promulgated the "guiding plan for the 12th Five-Year development plan of the leather industry of Zhejiang province".

Li Weijuan, director of Zhejiang Leather Industry Association, reviewed and analyzed the economic operation of leather industry in Zhejiang province in 2011. In 2011, the enterprises above Designated Size in the leather, fur and products industry of Zhejiang completed industrial output value of 123 billion 926 million yuan, an increase of 13.91% over the previous year, and the main business income was 121 billion 599 million yuan, an increase of 13.64% over the previous year; the value of export delivery was 54 billion 573 million yuan, an increase of 4.88% over the previous year; the profit was 5 billion 184 million yuan, an increase of 5.22% over the previous year.

Industrial output value and profit equivalence ratio continue to grow steadily, but the industry is still facing challenges such as rising raw material prices, increasing labor costs, financing difficulties, energy saving and emission reduction.

In the keynote speech of "innovating and developing steadily and creating a new situation of leather industry in Zhejiang", Li Weijuan systematically reviewed the development of leather industry in China and the current difficult and hot issues.

2012 is the key year for the implementation of the 12th Five-Year plan. The industry will still face the grim situation of the world economic recovery and the slowdown of domestic economic growth. The growth rate of the industry will not be a big drop.

Li Weijuan encouraged the industry to carry forward the spirit of "building wisdom and wisdom, seeking innovation, offering practical strategies and doing our best", grasping opportunities and moving forward steadily, and pointed out the combination and focal point of the industry's innovation and development: "adjusting structure, emphasizing innovation, promoting entity, strengthening reform, optimizing environment and stressing culture".

Zhejiang is the mainstay of China's leather power and is a well deserved leather province.

Zhang Shuhua, the chairman of the international leather trade association and honorary president of the China Leather Association, affirmed the development of leather industry in Zhejiang Province, using data as the pulse of leather industry in Zhejiang Province, pointing out that Zhejiang's leather industry's output value, output, total profit, import and export trade and other industrial indexes are among the highest in the country.
