    During the Spring Festival, manager Wu was very unrealistic. The leader gave her the job of recruiting. She advertised advertisements everywhere, though she could get the phone call every day, but there was no suitable job.

    "On the eve of new year's Eve, there were still calls to inquire about the situation, but the effect was not good. Many phone calls were from men. It was estimated that only 1 of the 10 phone calls were female."

    In addition to continuing to post recruitment advertisements, Wu also took everyone to the recruitment site.


    But whether it was the phone call or the recruitment on the spot, it made Wu manager's eyebrows become more and more frown, because she met a strange phenomenon: "the vast majority of the recruitment workers from the textile and textile mills are men. From the recruitment situation these days, the ratio of men and women has reached 8:1. How will this work be done in the future?"


    Looking at the time passed, Wu manager was also anxious, and launched a unit colleague to introduce female workers. Only in this way can some women workers be recruited.

    "This kind of phenomenon has never happened before. This year this phenomenon is particularly obvious. In order to expand recruitment, we have also posted the recruitment prospectus to the industrial park, but there are still many male workers to consult."


    Since ancient times, "men ploughing fields and weaving women" have become "men's weaving fabrics".


    Though they could not understand it, the workers had to move on.

    Wu manager's office in Jimo, the good thing clothing company, Guang Jimo factory plans to recruit 150 people this year.

    In order to recruit workers, they also increased wages: apprenticeships monthly wages of 1600 yuan, skilled workers in the early wage between 2000~2400 yuan, the latter will increase.

    But one month passed, and looked at the recruitment results: only more than 50 people were recruited, and more than half of those more than 50 were male workers.


    Garment factories have no choice but to lower admission conditions.


    According to the recruitment requirements, posts are mainly focused on sewing workers, packaging and ironing.

    "According to the recruitment situation, we will make some adjustments, such as packing, ironing and sewing," Wu said.


    Compared with previous years, this year's recruitment conditions are much lower. For example, according to the requirements of the textile mill, men and women who are over 40 years old do not accept it. They are worried that the workers will change with age.

    Many people recruited in the past few years are more than 20 years old, but this year most of the recruited people are over 30 years old.


    Recruitment is a headache, and manager Wu also worries: "most of the men who have recruited do not have work experience and have to start from scratch.

    The male workers themselves are worse off than the female workers.

    On the first two days, they managed to recruit an experienced male worker, who was 40 years old, and accepted him by experience.

    "They all came over with a blanket, but they hesitated at the end of signing the contract. We were worried that once they were hired, it would be hard for them to go on duty and leave again.

    Finally, the man came to think of it and said no reason. He left. "Now, it's really hard to recruit."


    The strange phenomena encountered by manager Wu were encountered by other textile and textile companies.

    In February 6th, the reporter contacted 8 textile and garment enterprises in this city to understand the current employment situation of enterprises.

    A person in charge of the dyeing and finishing plant in Qingdao said that there are now 600 workers in the factory. In order to replenish the new strength, the company also participated in several recruitment fairs and recruited new employees, but the effect was not very satisfactory.

    "It's really not a good idea to recruit people now, but fortunately, our enterprises belong to well-known large enterprises in the locals, and the treatment of their employees is also good, so they are relatively better."


    Even so, Mr. Duan said that their enterprises did not recruit the expected number of people. Now women workers are hard to find, and the phenomenon of enterprises being forced to recruit male workers does exist.

    "Like our clothing and textile enterprises, their own women workers are dominant. Although jobs like cloth and cloth do need men, there is still a lot of demand for women workers as a whole.

    But if the female workers can't get the job, the enterprise can only recruit top male workers, so there are more and more men's workers in recent years.

    Mr. Duan said that the proportion of male and female employees in the company is basically the same, and almost 600 of male workers can take up nearly half of them.


    A few hundred yuan a month is still a bad idea.


      

    Qingdao Ruihua group

    Deputy manager of a textile and dyeing Co., Ltd., a surnamed single, told reporters that although the majority of their enterprises were women workers, the proportion of male workers is increasing. This phenomenon has also attracted their attention.

    "Textile enterprises also have jobs, and they need men, so the enterprises themselves will recruit some male workers, but the number of male workers has been increasing in recent years."


    Jimo Fang ran garment factory has 130 employees at present, Zhou said: "at present, male workers account for 1/5, although the proportion is not very prominent, but many women workers in the field do not come back after the year, which has an impact on the employment and is now looking for ways to recruit."


    Qingdao Zheng Xing Group Co., Ltd. is also engaged in textile and garment industry. Although there is no such obvious phenomenon in the proportion of male and female employees, it has also attracted their attention: "since other clothing companies encounter this problem, they should also arouse our attention."


    Ms. Zhu worked in a foreign trade clothing enterprise. Since graduating from university in 2008, she has been doing the clothing business, and the main job is to see the goods and inspection products in the workshop of various cooperative factories.

    From graduating to less than 3 years ago, she also found that there are more and more male workers in clothing and textile enterprises.

    "At that time, I was joking with the female boss of a clothing factory in Zibo, saying that the female boss liked to hire male workers, but she told me that it was not a problem that women would not like to hire," she told me.

    Ms. Zhu said that she asked why herself at that time, and she did not explain it clearly.


    "It's harder to recruit workers this year. No matter men or women workers, we have four or five cooperative factories in Jimo. They are complaining that raising wages for their employees has increased the cost a lot."

    Ms. Zhu said that this year, all factories are raising wages. No matter what kind of work they are doing, their wages have been raised by several hundred yuan a month. Most of the wages are now more than 2000 yuan per month, while workers such as dyeing and finishing, ironing and so on are up to 3000 yuan per month.


    In the interview, reporters learned such a message that some companies used to recruit intermediaries, and hoped that they could help. But this year, there were not many people sent by the intermediary. They asked if they knew that the wage in the South would be 800 yuan higher than that here.


    Analysis: where have all the women workers gone?


    The enterprises can not recruit enough women workers to improve their treatment and reduce the recruitment conditions, but where are the women workers? For this question, many of the heads of the textile and garment enterprises are also puzzled by the interview.


    In the afternoon of February 6th, a reporter interviewed an analyst of Qingdao's human resources market. After hearing the phenomenon, he told reporters that the reduction of women workers should be an inevitable phenomenon.


    The analyst told reporters that because most of the women worked outside the age range from 18 to 25 years old, and after 25 years of age, most of the women workers would get married and have children. They would have to take care of their children for one or two years after giving birth.

    "Although there are children left home for the elderly to take care of themselves, and come out to work, but after all, a small number of the majority of mothers, they are more willing to stay home to find a living."

    The analysts said that the increase in township enterprises has also kept women out of work. "They can find jobs at home. Most people will be willing to work at home while taking care of their children."


    Relatively speaking, men do not have this problem.

    Even if a wife gives birth to a child, he may take care of it for a short time at home and then go out to look for a job.

    "Therefore, in the textile and garment industry with a high density of employment and women workers in the absolute main position, it is also normal for women and workers to hire men."


    Therefore, the analyst mentioned how to retain female workers and solve the shortage of labor. The key is to improve the treatment and welfare of workers and attract workers.
