The polyester fiber has a unique and highly improved cross section. The eight convex surfaces are arranged around a hollow fiber in a radial shape. The fiber is named Octa (eight) because it has the appearance of an octopus.
It is reported that eight convex fibers will be on sale in April 2012 to produce underwear, fashion, and for many uses.
