Givenchy marine life

Ricardo Tisi (Riccardo Tisci) designed a series of inspiration from the mysterious world of marine life for Givenchy: attractive women with lacklent charm, appearing at sunset and wearing sea colors.

Although the series is filled with a kind of ambivalent softness, there is no romantic indulgence, but a mixture of styles. Surfing and mermaids, jellyfish and sea snakes, organic and sensory elements are contrasted with tough lines, more graphic and avant-garde.

Rich contrast and hint, the resulting images are always boldly exploring and innovating based on primitive language experiments.

Designers are playing with a sexy masculine / feminine profile.

The tailored suits and waistcoat cover the super tight pants in a large proportion. The dress is constructed with customized feel, characterized by Chiffon stacking and fabric sequins applique. The corset is extended to the upper side with a double faced fleece in the fish skin or hand painted wrong pattern, covering the straight skirt.

The colors of the series are white, ivory, black, gray pink and light orange, khaki and silver.

Fabrics include crepe, cotton canvas, plain knitted fabric, wool, sequins, and eel and sea snake pattern.

They are metal high heels and ankle sandals.
