Taiwan Down Coat National Standard Ensures The Rights And Interests Of Buyers And Sellers

The Taiwan economic ministry Inspection Bureau said that the national standards for 15 kinds of feathers and down test methods have been published, such as CNS13982-1, and the textile garment industry also taught consumers to buy down products to see the CNS signs.

The Taiwan Standard Inspection Bureau said that the higher the percentage of feather down is, the better the degree of warmth is. Because feather down is a natural product and more as an internal filler, it is more necessary to check the consistency between the contents and the product label.

The Taiwan inspection bureau pointed out that because of the different countries in the region, there were differences in the specifications and inspection methods of feather and down products in various countries. The Taiwan Inspection Bureau, in accordance with the inspection rules set down by the International Down&Feather Bureau (IDFB), formulated the 15 national standards, including "feather feather and feather down test method first parts: adjustment", which are for inspection units reference and help to ensure the protection and rights and interests of buyers and sellers.

For example, according to CNS2119, the specification of 90/10 waterfowl eiderdown, that is, representing 90% of the down products, can reduce the chill of going to the countryside for outing and climbing. If the fabric of the down jacket has the function of preventing water diversion, it is not necessary to be afraid of sudden heavy rain or snow in the winter and keep warm.
