    Bvlgari Italy Classic Design Exhibition 125 Years

    In September 3, 2011, Beijing, the 125 year Italy classic art exhibition, was held in National Museum, Beijing, China from September 4, 2011 to November 3rd. It opened a new chapter for the cultural exchanges between China and Italy.

    This exhibition takes about 600 Bvlgari jewellery, which represents the highest achievement of Italy's art and design, as an example.     Coinciding with the unification of Republic of Italy 150th anniversary, the opening ceremony of the 125 year Italy classic art exhibition received cordial greetings and blessings from Mr. Gianni Letta, Secretary of state of Republic of Italy's prime minister's office. On behalf of Republic of Italy's premier, he highly praised the outstanding achievements of Bvlgari in the past 125 years, and praised the highly artistic, cultural and representativeness of the exhibition.

    As a strong support for the Sino Italian cultural and artistic exchange activities, the prime minister's office of Italy authorized the exhibition to use the logo of the prime minister's office in Italy.

    In his preface, he mentioned that tracing back to the history of Bvlgari, this exhibition not only provided us with the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the elegant artistic aesthetic sea, but also a cultural and artistic exhibition with a large scale and high level. It is a grand event to promote cultural and artistic exchanges between China and Italy.

    It not only represents the development history of Italy's classical culture, but also a rare and important chapter in the development of the world's top Jewellery Art History.

    The selection of Beijing, China as the first exhibition tour outside Europe, is not only because the bright history and elegant culture of the city complement the classical design style of Bvlgari, but also hopes to promote the exchange of Italy design art and contemporary Chinese art through this exhibition, and enlighten the development of Chinese contemporary cultural and creative industries.

    The exhibits in China are specially selected for the event, and many valuable jewellery will be displayed for the first time.

    The 125 year Italy classic art exhibition is divided into seven chapters in chronological order. Fine jewelry, watches and art masterpieces will tell the Chinese audience about the legend of the world-famous jewellery brand.

    The audience first saw the silverware made by the founder of Sotirio BVLGARI in the late nineteenth Century.

    Suo Lio Bvlgari is a silver producer from Greece who is brilliant and has a keen sense of business.

    He went to Rome alone, and laid a solid foundation in 1884. Later, he made the jewelry Kingdom with global attention.

    The silverware and silver ornaments presented here are the only remaining examples of the early days of Suo Li ou - Bvlgari, which reveal their classics from inside to outside, fully interpreting the Turkey and Byzantine styles.

    Bvlgari's cooperation with the film industry began in the 40s of last century, and continues to this tradition.
