2011 BFA Fashion Awards

The 2011 BFA competition for British Fashion Awards is about to begin. Sarah Burton, Christopher Kane and Erdem are among the best designer awards.

Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Burberry and Stella McCartney will be ready to get the designer brand of the year.

Georgia Jagger, Kirsten McMenamy and Stella Tennant were nominated for best models.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in November 28th.

"I'm very happy - it's really a great honor to be able to compete with so many experts," Erdem told us.

"I had no expectation."

The best newcomers for nominated senior clothing are J.W. Anderson, Mary Katrantzou and Peter Pilotto. The best accessories award is Jordan Askill, Nasir Mazhar and Tabitha Simmons.

The best new men Award for men's wear is Christopher Raeburn, James Long and J.W. Anderson respectively.

This year's Red Carpet Award will return to the British designer whose fame is far away and overseas, with Antonio Berardi, Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham.

All the designers of the BFA Fashion Awards have been celebrating their nominations through "Born Walk Tall" - a mile walk. They also want to remind people that health care workers play an important role in women's childbirth.

The British fashion Commissioner (BFC) ambassador, the first lady of the United Kingdom, Samantha Cameron, is the sponsor of this event.

"This year's list of entries shows that London is a place full of depth and creativity.

Fashion brands and famous designers are leading the global fashion trend. The latest ideas and works will be presented in London Fashion Week on Friday, September 16th, when fashion people will gather here.
