Donghua Raffles Graduation Show Staged "Raffles Privato" Design Storm

Donghua University Raffles School of international design is honored to be invited by this Shanghai fashion week. Raffles students, including students and graduates, will be presented at the opening show, closing shows and personal works exhibition. A Raffles storm of design will be launched in the most important event of Shanghai fashion industry.

Young Raffles students will start from this platform and harvest more attention from the domestic and international fashion stage.

As the closing show of Shanghai fashion week, the "Raffles Privato" Donghua Raffles 2011 student fashion show will be held in Xintiandi fashion at 19:30 PM April 12th.

For young designers who are about to leave the campus, landing on such an international stage of Shanghai international fashion week is an invaluable opportunity for future career development. These new designers who have just come out of Raffles will also inject new vitality and creativity into the original forces of the mainland.

As always, Donghua Raffles has invested heavily in this sixteenth student graduation show to support these outstanding new generation designers.

Some of the 8 student representatives who have just graduated from the fashion show stage have been employed by famous brands, and some are preparing their own design brands. Among them, Chen Zhigang has been invited by Sydney fashion week and will show his design series in Australia in May this year.

In the graduation show, senior industry professionals from luxury brands and fashion magazines will be selected as the judges to select the best design work with the most professional and critical eyes. The winners will receive scholarships from Australia's renowned design and business school, Sydney Raffles School of design and business, to pursue a master's degree program in Australia.

This graduation show has also been supported by many well-known brand partners. Ruian group, Lanc me, Toni & Guy, and Charles and Keith are sponsoring the graduation show for venues, makeup, hairstyles and accessories. The top brands will also be invited to attend this fashion show.

The theme of the graduation show "Raffles Privato" is Italian, which means Raffles Private Collection, Raffles's private clothing.

This graduation show is also the unveiling of Raffles Privato, the first domestic high-end student's original brand. The excellent works on the fashion show will have the chance to enter our Raffles Privato store in Xintiandi fashion to accept the test of the market.

In addition to this graduation show, Donghua Raffles and many students and graduates participated in the fashion week of Shanghai. They are the epitome of the "present" and "future" of the fashion design department of the college, reflecting the comprehensive strength of Donghua Raffles fashion design department.

At the opening ceremony of the new fashion week, two students from raffles, Donghua, also participated in the joint exhibition. They were Miu Meirong, who won the 2010 Asian Youth designer contest and Zhou Jun, who was the ten best designer of the 2010 China professional designer's creative design competition.

In addition, Li Hongyan, a successful alumni of Donghua raffles, will be landing on the stage of fashion week again to hold the autumn and Winter Conference of her personal brand INSH.

As one of the early graduates of Raffles in Donghua, Li Hongyan has now become the leader of Shanghai local designers.

Donghua University - Raffles International Design Institute was founded in 1994 by the Donghua University, the 211 key engineering university directly under the Ministry of education and the famous Singapore Raffles School of design in the Asia Pacific region. It has been renowned for its excellent innovative design education in the Asia Pacific region for 17 years.

The Raffles fashion design major in Donghua has nurtured a large number of outstanding design talents, and emerged famous local original designers such as Li Hongyan and Jiang Ling.

Over the years, Raffles students in Donghua have won many awards in various design competitions, including the Asian youth fashion designer competition, the China Cup, the Crowbar Design Award and the Beijing Olympic Games badge design competition.
