1 # Me and "Passion": Future experience towards the sensory world
In the process of shooting this time, we realized that Liu Ruoying was willing to accept challenges. She always opened her arms to meet countless possibilities. In "Global Love", there was a play of hanging Weiya for six hours. People were hung up, but they had to make weightless movements. Even a small gesture would lead to painting or helping. Even so, Liu Ruoying said that she didn't enjoy herself. She wanted to play a female killer, except modelling It's cool, and there are enough secrets hidden inside.
H: As the sister chapter of "Love in the City", do you think the overall characteristics of "Love in the World" are different from those of the previous work?
50: The former tells five unrelated stories in the story structure, while Global Love tells the love of three sisters, and it is a global panorama in terms of geographical span. Although it is called Sister Story, it is still very different.
H: Similar work teams have changed partners. What different experiences have you had from this shooting?
50: First of all, there are totally different stories. Each kind of narration will bring different shooting feelings. However, it is worth mentioning that this time my role, an astronaut, is my first challenge to this future role. It is a huge challenge in terms of physical strength due to the need to suspend Weiya.
H: In addition to the role you played in the film, which role in Global Love do you prefer?
50: Speaking of the script, my personality makes me forget many plots after reading them. In this play, I am deeply impressed by the role played by Kwai Lunmei. She has a serious habit of cleanliness, but falls in love with the rag picker played by Eason Chan. I think there will be many interesting drama conflicts in the middle.
H: In the film works you participated in before, there are few elements with a futuristic feeling. What was your first reaction when you heard about the spaceship plot this time?
50: Excited! Because I have never played such a role, I think it's very interesting!
H: Everyone has his own imagination of the future world. What is the perfect future life of mankind in your mind?
50: I think if the perfect life is not universal, but personal, slow life is enough. It is to use subtraction in life to make it easier and better. Then the speed can be slowed down, so that the pressure and busyness are gradually diluted in the details of life, and the requirements of environmental protection are put in a very important position in people's consciousness.
H: The theme of technology and futurism rarely appears in your works, but as an audience in life, will you pay attention to it? For example, Transformers 3, which is currently being critically reviewed, and Source Code, which will be released in China later. Are there any such films or literary works that you like very much?
50: Although I'm not a fan of science fiction, I also pay more attention to the future theme. As for Transformers 3, it's funny that I fell asleep while watching the film, so I lost the right to evaluate it. However, I am going to see the Tree of Life directed by Terrence Malik recently. This director has only made five films in 40 years. I think it is very rare. The Tree of Life focuses on the growth of life and soul, which is also a theme I prefer.
H: The look we shot this time will also make a breakthrough. There will be a little industrial sense of cold color in clothing matching. What are your habits and favorite styles in clothing matching in life?
50: I used to like clothes in cold colors, but now it's a little different. I occasionally add some bright elements to the style. A few days ago, I attended an event in Beijing, and the stylist just bought me a hat. I liked it very much and wore it to attend. In the past, I would not do this kind of thing. These years, on the contrary, I would not be affected by other people's comments and opinions. "I like it" is the best reason for myself. I still choose comfortable clothes off the stage, and the comfort of wearing is very important to me.
H: Although a new album was released last year, your focus in recent years is more on acting. In the current state, do you think you are a singer or an actor? In recent years, albums have not been released frequently, which is the reason for the current music environment and market, or your personal preference for the screen?
50: Last year I was busy touring and singing, and this year I am trying to be an actor. I have been insisting on releasing an album for two or three years, and will not adjust my work plan because of market problems. The music market is good. Many singers will release an album in half a year or eight months, but I will concentrate on one thing for a long time. The general environment of the record industry in recent years is not good, or it is a good thing. I urge some good musicians to work harder. Good music will not pass away because of the environment, but will survive.

H: Your big screen films have been around for a long time, but you can spend a lot of time in a year rehearsing stage plays. What is the most attractive part of this process that makes you think it is worth sacrificing a lot of other work?
50: This is a process of learning. The performance of stage plays is different from that of film and television plays. We will discuss many problems during rehearsal. Maybe these problems have nothing to do with stage plays on the surface, but they are more social and literary problems. However, such discussions and exchanges will become an important accumulation. In addition, the performance of a stage play is not personal, but a group collaboration. I am used to having many unexpected or random things during the performance, which needs more cooperation. Stage plays are not repetitive, and each scene has some creativity and surprises.
H: Is there any pressure on you to return to the stage after six years and participate in this live performance face to face with the audience?
50: Yes! There will still be slight tension, but more excitement brought by the stage.
H: Mr. Chen Lihua has written the stage plays "Outlaws of the Marsh" and "Journey to the West". What new surprises will this "In the West Chamber" bring to the audience in the aspect of adapting famous works?
50: "In the Western Chamber" has more meanings of borrowing from the past and using the modern. Although it uses the character relationship of "The Western Chamber", it involves a lot of life elements in modern society. It is "the tragedy and farce of the split personality in the 21st century garden". In the Western Chamber not only deconstructs 13 Western Chamber personalities, but also examines the desire code of modern people. In the feudal era, men and women who courageously pursued love could still abandon the idea of matching families and get married. Today, some men and women must be recognized by public opinion in advance. The focus of public attention seems not to be the love of the protagonists, but the interests involved in marriage.
H: What kind of classical Chinese novels do you like? Is there any work that you particularly like? Why?
50: A Dream of Red Mansions. Because there are too many characters, I can't remember them, so every time I read it, it's like a new book!
H: For many young people today, Chinese culture is slowly losing. Does this mean that our original exquisite lifestyle is losing?
50: I used to have such concerns, but later I looked back at the growth history of our generation and found that this is a problem that can be considered but need not be worried. Didn't our parents and even ancestors have such concerns during our growth? However, the essence of Chinese culture has not disappeared. Every era has its own aesthetic and specific lifestyle, and the pursuit will be different. Once people want to find it, then you think the lost refinement will naturally return. The key is that people's eyes can see it. Traditional Chinese culture and tradition are there. You can find it as long as you find it.
3 # My City: Returning to the Current Original Color of "Taipei Native"
Everywhere you go, you are yourself. There is no role, no division, no deduction. Liu Ruoying said that her honest self is the most normal thing in Taipei streets. If she can not work on one day's holiday, she will sleep until she wakes up naturally, then read books, go shopping, meet friends, drink tea, and live the life that ordinary people would live.
H: Speaking of your hometown Taipei, what keywords can best summarize the characteristics of this city that flash through your mind?
50: Snacks, night markets, alleys, people, bookstores... Taipei is a city with a slightly faster pace than Beijing. Because it is not big, you can do a lot of things by bike in a day. Those alleys go one by one when you walk. In Taipei, it is very warm to ask for directions. When you don't understand something, you often directly bring the person who asked for directions to Taipei.
H: As a taipeian, and as a recognized taiwanese artist with the most humanistic temperament, how do you view taiwan's cultural background and humanistic characteristics?
50: Taiwan has done a lot to follow the traditional culture. In the 1980s, when Taiwan's economy took off, the film industry also developed, such as Hou Xiaoxian. They did not vigorously develop commercial films because of the rapid economic development, but paid more attention to the hearts of people who changed with it.
H: What is the most Taiwanese lifestyle? What qualities do you think Taiwanese have that are different from mainland Chinese?
50: The most Taiwanese way of life is simple! Taiwanese talk more directly than their mainland friends. Maybe I am Taiwanese, so I don't use my mind under the same background. But for mainland friends in a strange background, I will take pains to listen to them and find that they really read a lot of books.
H: As a native of Taiwan, what other cities can best represent Taiwan besides Taipei? Why?
50: Hualien and Taitung! Because it is very traditional, there are many old houses.
H: In your mind, what is the voice of Taipei? Is there a song that best represents Taiwan?
50: The sound of birds and car horns in the morning is really Taipei. I thought that a song could represent Taiwan, but I forgot the specific name of the song. I only remember the lyrics of the song is "Taiwan is a good place.
H: Because of your work, you travel from Taiwan, Hong Kong and the mainland all the year round. What is the role of each place in your life?
50: In fact, there is no special difference. I am myself everywhere.
