    Yin Chengji, spokesman of the Ministry of social security and the Ministry of human resources and social security, held a regular press conference today (22), revealing that 13 provinces and municipalities have adjusted according to local realities in the first quarter.

    According to Yin Chengji, at present, the highest monthly minimum wage standard in Shenzhen is 1320 yuan in the city of Shenzhen, and the highest minimum wage in the hour is 13 yuan in the city.

    Under the socialist market economy, the market mechanism plays a fundamental role in regulating the wage distribution of enterprises.

    The wage level of enterprise employees mainly depends on four factors: first, the supply and demand of labor market and the level of education of workers themselves; two, the labor productivity of enterprises and the quantity and quality of labor provided by laborers; three, the mechanism of wage determination through consultation between workers and enterprises; and four, the government's necessary macroeconomic regulation and control for wage distribution of enterprises, such as determining the minimum wage standard rationally.

    During the "11th Five-Year" period, with the sustained and rapid development of the national economy, the wage level of the staff and workers of the enterprises increased steadily, and the workers and staff members got substantial benefits.

    According to statistics, the average wage of the staff and workers in the enterprises (excluding private enterprises and employed workers and businesses) increased from 17853 yuan at the end of the "fifteen" period to 31622 yuan in 2009, an average annual increase of 15.4%, and the average annual increase of 12.4% was 12.4% after deducting the price factors.

    The "12th Five-Year plan" outline put forward that wage decision mechanism and growth mechanism to reflect the relationship between supply and demand of labor market and economic benefits of enterprises should be formed, and the minimum wage standard should be raised gradually, with an average annual growth of more than 13%. Efforts should be made to synchronize labor remuneration growth and labor productivity improvement.


    Yin Chengji said that in April 20th, the key points of the economic system reform in 2011, which were decided by the Executive Council of the State Council, also put forward that we should study and formulate the reform plan of income distribution and steadily implement it.

    Wage collective bargaining system

    It is estimated that with the deepening of the wage system reform and the steady and rapid development of China's economy in 12th Five-Year, the wages and salaries of staff and workers will continue to grow fairly fast.
