Over the same period, private enterprises imported and exported 28 billion 610 million US dollars, an increase of 37%, accounting for 22.8% of the total value of Guangdong's foreign trade.

In terms of import and export trade, from 1 to February, Hongkong, the United States and the European Union remained the top 3 trading partners in Guangdong. In Guangdong and the top 6 trading partners, the growth rate of imports and exports with the EU was the lowest, only 15%, and the growth rate of Taiwan's exports was as high as 78.3%.

Export growth exceeded 40%, higher than the overall export growth during the same period, and the export of major labour intensive products increased steadily.

From 1 to February, the export of mechanical and electrical products in Guangdong was 50 billion 70 million US dollars, an increase of 40.7%, accounting for 68.7% of the total value of Guangdong's foreign trade exports; the export of high-tech products increased by 27 billion 210 million US dollars, an increase of 48.5%, accounting for 37.3% of the total value of Guangdong's foreign trade exports.

Over the same period, Guangdong's clothing and clothing accessories, footwear, furniture and parts and textile yarn fabrics and products were exported by US $4 billion 370 million, US $2 billion 190 million, $2 billion 150 million and US $1 billion 510 million respectively, increasing by 16.3%, 17.5%, 19.1% and 20.4% respectively. Exports of bags and similar containers, toys and plastic products 1 billion 50 million, 810 million dollars and 970 million dollars, respectively, increased by 970 million, 970 million and 810 million.

According to customs analysis, in February 2011, coincided with the Spring Festival holiday, the import and export scale of Guangdong was lower than that of January.
