    Statistics show that Semir apparel owns two famous brands, Semir casual wear and Barbara children's clothing, occupying second place and first place in their respective market segments respectively.

    As of December 31, 2010, Semir had 4007 stores and 2676 Barbara shops.

    The sales network of the two brands has covered 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government in addition to Hongkong, Macao and Taiwan.

    From 2008 to 2010, Semir achieved 3 billion 323 million yuan, 4 billion 250 million yuan and 6 billion 287 million yuan in operating income respectively, achieving net profit of 443 million yuan, 686 million yuan and 1 billion yuan, and rapidly improving profitability.


    The announcement shows that Semir apparel intends to invest all its fund-raising funds in marketing network construction and information construction projects, and expand its marketing network while improving its quick response capability.

    According to Zheng Hongwei, Secretary of the board of directors of the company, the marketing network construction project intends to invest 63 stores nationwide. Based on the existing stores of Semir and Barbara brand, it expands the number of flagship stores and image stores of the two major brands in the core business circle of key cities, covers the distribution of outlets with potential development areas, and enhances the market image and share of the two major brands.


    According to the reporter's understanding, along with the advancement of urbanization in China and the continuous improvement of residents' income, the market of adult leisure wear will remain steady growth in the future.

    It is predicted that in 2009 -2013, the annual compound growth rate of the adult casual wear market will be 9.72%. By 2013, the consumption of the adult leisure wear market in China will reach 747 billion 200 million yuan.

    In contrast, with the coming of the new round of baby boom, the increase of urban families and the increase of household consumption power, the children's wear market is growing faster.

    In 2009 -2013, the annual compound growth rate of children's clothing consumption will reach 10.06%, and the market scale will reach 138 billion 300 million yuan in 2013.
