On the morning of 14, the rescue team visited the headquarters of SummitCountyRescueGroup (SCRG).

SCRG is headquartered in the 911 center of the local community. It is a voluntary institution affiliated to the local sheriff's office.

SummitCounty is located in the Rocky Mountains. It is a famous outdoor sports resort such as skiing and hiking. There are a lot of mountain accidents that need rescue every year. In the long term practice, SCRG has accumulated rich experience. Local government support enables them to have funds to purchase excellent equipment.

Although the area and altitude and environmental complexity can not be compared with that of Sichuan, the rescue type is quite similar, and the two sides have a lot in common.

In the afternoon, the Sichuan mountain rescue team and SCRG colleagues conducted a joint rescue exercise in Quandary mountain. The person in charge of the project, Mr. Mrozowski, served as a casualty and was sent to the roadside by stretchers and pulley systems from the mountain rescue team members.

The joint rescue exercise has achieved good results and improved the understanding of Chinese and American rescue teams.

On the 15 day, Sichuan mountain rescue team members and SCRG members hiked in the mountains near Frisco. After the mountaineering ended, SCRG members prepared a picnic lunch.

Mr. Hage, deputy director of SCRG at the picnic, said that through two days of communication and training, all the colleagues of the mountain rescue team in Sichuan province moved him in the vast mountainous areas with poor equipment, inconvenient pportation, poor communication and difficult conditions. He and SCRG colleagues will do everything in their power to help the Sichuan mountain rescue team.

Mrozowski, head of the US Department of state, also recognizes the performance of mountain rescue teams in Sichuan.

In the Midwest of the United States in September 15th, the Sichuan mountain rescue team ended a 4 day exchange and training in Colorado.

At noon on September 16th local time, the rescue team left Colorado for Seattle to begin training and communication in Washington state.
