Textile garments

Products are the second main export projects in Vietnam for a long time. There are about 2000 textile and garment enterprises in Vietnam (25% of foreign-funded enterprises), and 2/3 of the North Vietnamese region.

The Vietnamese government plans to build 11 textile and garment industrial parks in 11 provinces and cities such as Haiphong, North Ning, Xin'an, Taiping, Qinghua and Da Nang after 2010.

At present, three parks in Xin'an, Pingyang and Da Nang are under construction and have begun to take shape.

In addition, 80 thousand tons of embryo cotton, 120 thousand tons of roving and 300 thousand tons of all kinds of yarn are planned for 2010.

Exports range from 8 billion to 9 billion dollars.
