How To Execute Executive Power

For a team, executive power is very important, which is basically becoming nonsense, not because there is no reason, but this reason everyone understands.

So today I don't want to say how important execution is, but I want to talk about how to build a team with strong execution.

Of course, these experiences are not my personal experience.

1, does the team have a good leader?

This is the most important thing. If a team does not have good leaders, the best employees are useless.

When we interview a company, we should also think about this matter. In addition to the opportunities that the company can provide for us to learn and improve, it is more important to take a look at your direct leadership.

A strong executive leader can greatly improve the execution of the whole team, so that the team will become one of the most important teams. The company will attach importance to it and its executive power will be improved in this process.

Other opportunities, including learning and improvement, will increase correspondingly.

Most executive leaders do not need to flatter.

You don't want to know how to flatter a company after five years.

But the executive power of the leader does not mean that he does everything himself.

Such a leader may be a good employee, but he is definitely not a good leader.

2, has everyone paid enough attention to details?

Many people know about the importance of details, but more people don't know how to do it. Next time, I will talk about how to pay attention to details.

Paying attention to details is not enough for one sentence. It is really necessary to do well.

Let me give you one of the simplest examples.

Taking the revision of the website as an example, the first thing we need to do is to analyze and analyze the location of our channel and analyze the necessity of revision. We have to make sure that there are enough reasons for revision. If you think your reasons are not enough, we should list each one and then list the reasons why it is not necessary to reprint. If there is no reason to prove that it is not necessary, then we should see which reason is more.

This is a detail. A lot of people are changing their minds with a bang. What can be changed? What is the effect after the change? I don't know myself.

The result may be a change rather than a change, not only a waste of labor, but also a loss of users.

It seems that the above theory is still strong in theory, and in addition to a strong maneuverability, did we write the rules clearly when we changed the drawing of the UE diagram? The principle of UE diagram writing rules is that the technology and the art editor can look at the document to get everything done, basically do not need to do more communication, that is the role of the document.

3, is there a good system?

Team management depends not only on people, but also on systems. Good systems are very helpful for improving executive power.

Of course, only the system is not enough, we have to supervise, and how can we do it in advance? What should we do on schedule? What should we do if we haven't finished it? The system of the team is equivalent to the laws of the country, and it is very serious and no one can be exceptional.

Without a good system, it is difficult to improve executive power.

4, is there a good process?

Our current job, even within a team, is unlikely to be done by a single person, and it requires cooperation from others.

For example, when a product is on line, it needs early data and market analysis. It needs the design of product personnel, the beautifying of designers, and the development of technical personnel. As long as it involves the work that requires many individuals or teams to complete, the process is very important, and a good process can greatly improve efficiency.

One of the simplest examples is the revision, which is calculated on 4 pages of a channel (home page, column front page, list page, final page).

The general process is that the editor first designs the page UE (2~3 days). After the design is finished, she will give it to the US editor to make the page (3~4 days), and then give it to the technology set template (3~4 days). The whole process will take about 8~11 days.

This seemingly reasonable process can actually be more optimized. Now the process has only one role in the work. When editing, there is nothing to do with the art and technology.

If time is pressing, do we need to compress it? Can we arrange it in such a way: if the editor designs a UE, it will be handed over to the US.

In this way, the whole revision process can be completed in 5 days.

Of course, this example will ignore some details, but it can be seen how a small process adjustment can improve work efficiency.

Executive power is not only reflected in the speed of work, but also in the aspects of reasonable process, low rework rate and so on.
