Students From The Academy Of Fine Arts Won The Gold Medal In The Cashmere Knitted Fashion Design Competition In China

In May 21st, the results of the 2009/2010 China cashmere knitted fashion design competition were announced. The contest awarded two gold, silver and bronze medals, and the most market potential awards were among them. Among them, 2007 of the students in the Department of dyeing and clothing art design, Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, were awarded the gold medal.

The theme of the competition is "technology and fashion". It has received more than 300 entries from Beijing, Tianjin, Shaanxi, Hubei, Jiangsu and other key provinces and cities, textile and garment design institutes, textile and garment market, and famous textile and garment enterprises. The authors include designers at home and abroad, textile and apparel brand designers, design studio designers, professional knitting designers and professional teachers and students in fashion design institutes.

The competition is sponsored by China Textile Press and Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, and is hosted by the Qinghe County people's Government of Hebei province and the Qinghe cashmere products Market Management Committee of China.
