International Home Textile Design Competition "Smart Manufacturing" Promotes "Manufacturing"

Every year the Frankfurt international home textile exhibition returns, we will all ponder the same question. "Where is the gap between us and Frankfurt?

How far is it? "

The answer to the question is basically the same every year: design and brand, there is still a long way to catch up.

It is gratifying to note that a large number of original products originating from China's home textiles are constantly appearing in the international home textile brand stores, and the weights of home textile "made in China" quality and price advantages are more and more integrated into the gold content of the original design.

This is due to the promotion of "China International Home Textile Design Competition" since 2003.

As a major event of the home textile exhibition, China International Home Textiles Design Competition was revised in 2008. The original China international home textiles design competition includes five awards: brand product design style award, product design award, creative design award, Thesis Award and online award, respectively, merging and pforming into three independent competitions, namely, China International Home Textiles product design competition, China International Home Textiles Creative Design Competition and China International Home Textiles online contest.

The theme of this competition is "the eastward movement of the east wind".

The Organizing Committee of the competition hopes to make use of the far-reaching influence of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, take home textiles as the carrier, and strive to introduce the Chinese culture to the west, and strive to create the modern design style of Chinese home textiles.

According to statistics, there are 106 domestic and foreign enterprises and 29 institutions of higher learning in the 2008 China International Home Textiles Design Competition.

The total number of entries and works in the competition exceeded 4500, an increase of 40.49% over the same period.

The products included in the product design award and the brand product design style award include 6 categories: bedding, towels, cloth, blankets, series and other categories. There are altogether 2946 sets of 360 sets of products. 1249 graphic works have participated in the evaluation of the creative design award; 41 papers have been submitted.

There are also 319 products and works competing in the online fashion design award and the fashion charm design award.

A total of 10 brand product design styles were awarded, 3 prize winners for product design, 6 silver, 10 bronze and 50 outstanding.

The creative design awards were 2 gold medals, 3 silver awards, 5 bronze medals, 30 outstanding prizes, 1 prize winners, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals, and 5 excellent prizes.

Through online evaluation, the "fashion creative design award" and "fashion charm Design Award" were selected in 10 places.

The participants from Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Beijing, Sichuan, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hebei, Hebei, Hebei, Jiangxi, China, China, 21 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and regions.

Foreign competitors came from the United States, Israel, France, South Korea, Turkey and other countries. They participated in product design, creative design and online competition respectively.
